Very convenient

Pros: Staff and breakfast excellent
Cons: Lift
Location: Town Centre so all aberdeen on doorstep.
Very near bus and train, only problem no lift available so difficult for older people to access rooms.

Weekend break hotel

Posted Apr 17, 2017
Pros: I loved that the downstairs bar/bistro has karaoke on a Friday and Saturday night. Not that it can be heard upstairs in the rooms.
Location: Great location. Almost opposite the bus station/shopping centre/train station.
I stayed at the Soprano for a weekend trip and could't fault the place. Very friendly and helpful staff. Clean and spacious room with nice ensuite bathroom. Close to everything.

Whilst the hotel room was cheap the bed was very uncomfortable, the noise from the seagulls that decide to serenade you at 2 in the morning is to be believed, the TV had half the channels missing, the place in general could do with a total refurb as its looking tired in the accommodation part, This is definitely you get what you pay for, Not to sure what the other rooms are like I have stayed at this hotel twice now both times single rooms and both times been disappointed, If your going to stop here go for a double room on the first or second floor, stay well clear of the upper floor, and to add insult to injury they want to charge you £10 pound for Wi-Fi use in the room, It is free in the restaurant but only for 2 hours (in this day and age it should be free)
