Wyndham garden
We stayed at this hotel for 1night we had a nice room not ultra modern but clean and tidy,small down side was the shower could do with updating to a shower cubicle instead of the old fashioned curtain. We also ate our evening meal here and it was very nice food and a good portion, would use this hotel again and the restaurant if I was in the area. Breakfast was very good too. Hotel staff were very polite and helpful

Nice place, close to the source of the Danube
Really nice hotel with good report on quality and price, close to Donauquelle. The rooms are not to big for a family, but nice and comfortable. The breakfast is a challenge, as there is so much good food to choose from. And if you have a dinner, you'll not regret it either. The train station is just across the road, but could be a drawback also, if you get a room on that side of the hotel. The narrow ramps of the multilevel parking are not really car friendly.

No AC. Unprofessional staff
No AC in rooms. Rude and unprofessional staff. They wanted to charge us inspite of it beibg prepaid and we telling them that we had paid. Lot of noise from road. Impossible to stay in summer heat.

overpriced and not to the standard expected
The hotel looks ok to start with, but the rooms are a horrific disappointment. Shower curtains with mold, blankets over rugged sofa bed, a basin that was so old the enamel was tearing off.... I could go on. Oh, and dont come with a large car because you wont be able to get it into the garage without bumping it.

The hotel is a 3 star not more
The rooms have not been renovated in years, the furniture is old-fashioned (at best) the room organization is ilogical (tv in odd place), no underfloor heating in the bathroom, old sofa covered with blanket etc. the parking is horrible. If you have a normal size car, good luck getting it in and out without bumps. if you have a mini (the original) or a VW bug no worries.

Nice hotel close to the train station.
The hotel was nice because it was close to local transportation that you could take all over the black forest. The room was clean but there were pieces of the wall and the trim around the floor that were falling apart or falling off. The biggest con was that there was no aircon in the room and it was a hot weekend. If we opened the window there was so much noise from the neighbors. They were playing music really loud and shouting. Overall it was alright.

Great hotel, great location, great staff
A hidden gem. We have never visited the SW of Germany and were delighted to find the area was so lovely. The hotel was very conveniently positioned for the town. The reception staff were lovely, accepting my poor german before politely suggesting we speak in English. The public reas are great and the room was large and very clean. Wi-Fi a bit iffy.

Never been renovated
Springs in beds, stained carpet, smelly koi pond in lobby, can't understand how it gets an EU 4 star rating! Great staff however. I would stay at a local gasthaus hotel instead. Stayed for 7 days, had to have several things fixed while there, crappy bedding and pillows.

The hotel offers spacious rooms, but from the 1980s. The staff was friendly, but the hotel isn't located near anything in town so you must walk or get a taxi.

Great one night stay
We booked this for 2 families for one stay, On arrival the hotel staff was quick to check our bookings and allocate the rooms On that day they had a wedding party at the hotel with limited access to kitchen facilities to the public But the General Manager Mr Omar was very keen to help us As we were on a 8 day trip to other EU places We requested him to help us warn our food at the kitchen He accepted that with no problems at all our stay could not get better The guy was such a dedicated person Good luck and best regards. I had problems to connect to the free wifi, after an hour of trial and error, i connected my cell phone but the connection only lasted 30 or 45 minutes. the laptop computer never connected. next day breakfast was good, enough to choose from.

Hotel lobby was impressive. Breakfast was fantastic. Huge variety. Booked in at 4 pm and asked to make a reservation for dinner. Was told the restaurant was fully booked. However we were able to order room service. Not as nice but better than going hungry. Room (of course) was not as big as it looked on the internet and the first room we were given had people in it already! We stayed here as it was less expensive than staying at Titisee and not too far away. Couldn't get the internet to work even after taking the computer down to the front desk but we would stay here again.

A taste of 60s on Danube source
The hotel overlooks the Danube (or better the Brigach). Rooms are nice and rather large. Location is slightly outside the village, you have to cross the railway and the Danube (the second one being much easier to cross) to go "downtown". It is a totally oversized facility for the little town of Donauschingen, with some taste of Soviet style resort (large and empty spaces). The hotel looked apparently desert, but very nice inside. The personnel was not very good, I wanted a room on the Danube and the lady made some passive resistance to give it to me (claiming the existance of noise of the road !) but then I got what I wanted. I asked for information about the town (how to visit the source of Danube) and I was addressed to an empty desk full of brochures ... well this also fits the soviet style ... Anyway it's difficult to get lost in the town so ... In conclusion the place was nice, good breakfast, large spaces, cheap price ... what more ?

Fantastic staff, good food, free parking and Internet. What can you want more? One side of the hotel faces local rail tracks - it didn't bother me at all (not so loud and small traffic) but if you are especially sensitive and sleep with windows open, you may want to ask them for the room on the opposite side, should be perfectly quite and the air is nice from all the nature surrounding the place.

tourist tax
We had to pay tourist tax as an extra by checking out. Hotels.com say on the site; included tax, we complained, to no avail. This was the first time so far in our 6 week trip, this shows in my opinion a negative side of the hotel-management. We have paid now 2 times the tourist tax. For this reason the overall rating is 2.

Not impressed
It is unfortunate but the hotel did not meet my expectations. I found some of the staff unfriendly and unprofessional. However, the food in the hotel was excellent. The decor was tired, the rooms not well cleaned or maintained for a hotel of this standard. Overall a disappointing experience and we will not be returning.

Outdated. Beds were uncomfortable and the hotel reeked everywhere. No internet reception in certain areas of the hotel, we had to move room. The foyer stinks and is just so dark, hardly any lighting.
