Terrible experience in a fairly nice hotel

I went on business to New Orleans and slipped and fell on the tub. The hotel security staff said they were not required to have matts in the bath tubs because they were supposed to be anti slippery surfaces, nor they were willing to pay for my hospital expenses. They said I had to ask for reimbursement. The security person that came over to take the incident report even implied that I was maybe "tipsy", being that the reason for my fall. Upsetting! Ended up in the hospital and still on pain medication. If it wouldn't have been for that "little" incident the stay would have been very good.

I highly recommend this hotel as it is centrally located to virtually everything. The best part is that everything is within walking distance or within a very short taxi ride. The only thing I wish the hotel staff would've done is highlight the hotel amenities during my check in as I didn't find myself using the amenities of the hotel during my stay. However, looking back on my trip that was not an issue as I was too busy enjoying the city. This hotel has fantastic views, just be sure to pick the correct room to maximize those views. I will definitely be staying here again when visiting New Orleans next time.

Was not allowed to leave dog in paid hotel room was incovience for me on my first trip to new Orleans!

Good Location, Better Views!

From the 27th floor, you get a beautiful view of the city and the water. Staff was friendly and accommodating - even walked me back to my room to look for my sunglasses. Room service was prompt. Only drawbacks were noise from the elevator and uncomfortable mattress.

Nice hotel close to local sites and transportation

Pros: Cleanliness, spacious room, friendly and helpful staff, and location.
Cons: It could be free.
Location: It is in the New Orleans French Quarter a couple of blocks from Bourbon street. What more do you need to know? :)
we had a very pleasant three nights and four days at the Sheraton. The club service was a great feature. Breakfast was right down the hall. The bar was a little pricy but the bar tenders were friendly and the pours were heavy. The concierges were very knowledgeable and steered us towards some great places to go and things to do. They even made calls to get us reservations and discounts.

Hotel close to bourbon street

Was very very clean very nice sraff, bar was fabulous. ..loved the location ..would def go back or recommend this hotel enjoyed it very much
