Great shower pressure in 1980s retro feeling apartment. Unfortunate that our view was a dirty rooftop of the shop and living beside us. Bedroom area was good.loged the sliding doors. Check in was a lengthy process only one person on front desk and 4 people waiting. Parked in council cark park as Oaks carpark was additional $20. The stay was comfortable.

Despite the varied reviews of this property I found my studio with water views very adequate, clean and stocked as listed. The hotel overall is dated and needs upgrading, but I was very happy with my room. The woman at check-in was very pleasant and helpful regarding parking. The only problem was slamming doors.

Great location, beautiful surrounding atmosphere, great staff. Most friendly and helpful receptionist and staff ever, lovely and great first impression of hotel. Everything about the hotel was exceptional. It was clean, stylish, and roomy. Room itself was well equipped and comfortable. I was very pleased with my stay. I hope to be back for a longer visit in the future.

This property would have been beautiful 30 years ago. The room itself was run down, we were put in a 2 bedroom room even though we only requested a single room which we initially thought was great however one of the rooms was being renovated and was a construction site with no carpet, glue on the floor and a water leak(puddle on the concrete) that smelt like mould. The sofa bed was broken and had a sign on it not be be unfolded as it was broken and the tv didn’t work at all. The pool is very run down, tiles coming up around the pool and in the pool itself. The hotel is in a prime location, with a park out the front and overlooking the water. And the staff were so lovely. It’s just a shame the room was such a letdown. We attempted to call the hotel numerous times after leaving however they never answered the phone and when requesting for a callback online no one called you back.

Nice view from the balcony. Very central location. The pool area and water was cold so we couldn’t enjoy sitting there. Seemed to get very windy as it’s situated on level 2. All of the shops and restaurants underneath were closed on a Monday so I’d suggest staying here another night.

Check in took a while as only one person working the desk.. room was good size but needs a lot of work. King size bed is 2 singles pushed together. Would have to be the most uncomfortable bed I have ever tried to sleep on. My side sloped.. and I would roll to the middle.the other side the bed had no support at the side it had obviously been sat on to many times. The air con was super noisy and the louvres were broken off. Furniture needs a good clean. The dryer door was broken. There was no internet for the first couple of days and no TV reception for the first 3 days. They said that they had a blackout and were trying to get it fixed. Asked to be oved to another room with a view and told yes they would. Didn't happen. Asked for a mattress topper for the bed as it was super uncomfortable and told yes. That afternoon when we got back to the room no topper. Went and asked at reception and said that they would look into it. Mattress topper was brought to the room but I had to put it on the bed as the service staff were no longer working at that time of the day. So I had to strip the bed and put the topper on. Location is the only good thing about this hotel.

Very disappointing. Area is unsafe and we were advised not yo walk far at night. Property is old, furnishings worn and stained. No amenities were open. View was excellent but not worth the price. Would not stay again or return to the area.

I am a property professional with 30 years of experience and this place was a total disappointment. The pool area, the gym, the balcony, the internal stairs in the loft apartment - shocking, all of them. The place should be shut down and completely refurbished and everyone knows it. The owners do not want to spend a cent on this place and it is blatantly obvious. Such a shame.Will not recommend to anyone.

Car park ramps are steep, narrow and dark -terrible to navigate in any wagon or SUV. Kitchen hot plate markings worn off so no idea which way is on/off and what temperature. There is only one 5min park out the front when checking in so we had to drive around for 30mins waiting for it to clear and then only one lift working. Supposed to be non-smoking but level one often reeked.

To be charged over $500 for one night in a room that looks like it was from the mid 70's is outrageous. A TV that was so old you could barely watch it was another disappointing feature. Beds old and uncomfortable. The noise (not the fault of the venue) from the upstairs apartment was unbearable as was the music from Taffy's, a heads up on this would have been nice. Overall, would never stay here again.
