We really enjoyed the breakfast with made to order omelets, the friendliness of the staff, the views, and the pool. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others.

Limited hours of exercise room were disappointing, but there is a sauna albeit difficult to get it up to temp. The breakfast was great, custom omelets, waffles with strawberries and whip cream. What’s not to like about that, except the lame coffee. Yes, I would go back even if it was just for the omelet.

Its very spacious especially the Breakfast Dining area. The only thing is that the swimming pool is all the way at bottom of Floor all stairs But very Nice area.. Will be Back

Best Western Pier Inn. Excellent View!
Great views of the river and Old Town. Rooms are clean, beds are comfortable and bathrooms are in good condition. It would be helpful if the toilets were a little higher. They do not have a restaurant; however, breakfast is included with your stay. Breakfast includes made to order omlets, waffles and other hot and cold choices. Tasty!

We asked for and received the room with the best view. The homemade breakfast was great each day and this location is convenient to the town and to the beach.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Parking was convenient. Price was reasonable. Our only issue was the noise; we could hear everything going on in all the rooms around us into the late evening (laughing, talking, playing games).

Worst place. Dirty, strong urine smell. Top it all the bathroom lights didn’t work due to circuit breaker issue. The worst part was the urine smell. Looks like someone urinated on the wall and they never cleaned it. Will never stay at a Best Western again.

This facility is in dire need of upgrading. The vent in the bathroom was layered in grunge, the bathroom floor was filthy, the heating unit sounded like it was on its last legs, the mattress --- OMG lumpy sagging definitely time to replace. I've always liked Best Western hotels due to standard of excellence - this place isn't that.

I gave this hotel 3 stars because it is an approximate average of zero starts and five stars. 5 Stars: >> very clean property and rooms >> staff was friendly and helpful >> Very nice location on the river 0 Stars: >> the architect of this place needs to be fired. There are many rooms on the bottom floor, but there is NO elevator. There are very steep stairs. If you have any disability, or have many, or heavy pieces of luggage, it would be difficult to impossible to get to those rooms. Because it was off season and on a weekday, the front desk person gave us a different room. However, in tourist season don't come here unless you make sure you can access your room >> I have never been unable the access the internet in any hotel. However here I could not pair my laptop with the hotel's internet. I did manage to pair my iPad, but the internet was slow as to be useless for anything other than e-mail >> The TV remote was very slow and often would not scroll down or enable selection of a station. Worse, once you selected a station, perhaps because of the slow internet, TV shows were difficult to watch because they skipped.

What we love about this hotel is the rooms views of The Siuslaw bridge? Florence across the river its beautiful at night! Hotel is showing some age but aren't we all!! lol We also love the full breakfast and omelet's made to order!
