Walls are thin. Doors are noisy.

Pros: The paint & décor was modern. Nice big towels. We enjoyed the cookies and the citrus water.
Cons: Make the whole property non-smoking. When people have to keep their windows open to stay cool, it would be nice not to smell the parking lot smokers.
Location: Connie Hansen Garden is right next door. Several blocks to the beach. Farmers market on Sunday at the Cultural Center. Mo's a few miles south.
I believe the staff did their best. They were pleasant and did a few things we asked such as have a room away from stairwell/ice machine. Also, the sliding door lock was broke and we called and that was fixed. However, we did not get a top floor as requested when the reservation was made. They may have had them all booked. There isn't air conditioning in the room. There was a stand up fan in the corner of the room. This motel is several blocks from the beach so if it had been warmer weather, I think we would have been uncomfortable.

Only disappoint was the desk person did not know how to scan documents, didn't call for anyone who did nor would allow the guest to do it herself. It ended up turning into an issue since there was no place like a Staples where it could be taken care of.

Very friendly host!

We love the pool and breakfast! They had a mishap with a water pipe broken amd offered us a nights refund to relocate to another place. We declined and stayed anyways. Hey stuff happens..just move forward! They ended up giving us a discount, free movies amd snacks for the trouble after a fluke broken pipe. Super nice people and will be back!

Great stay

We were really happy with the Inn at Wecoma. The staff went above and beyond to make sure our stay was a good one. The rooms were spacious, and very clean. We will definitely be staying here again.

Staff is great trouble with rooms sometimes

We had too leave the hotel our second night due to we have a baby and there was no water and no eta for water to return. The staff said they had provided gallons of water for certain uses but our had none.

Family Visit

Pros: Newly renovated rooms and the sliding door access for guests who have pets.
Cons: Staffing for housekeeping to provide services to all guests. Better selection for breakfast items.
Location: The beach is within 5 minute walk and the downtown area is a short drive away. There are restaurants close by for breakfast and dinner.
Hotel had been recently renovated and the rooms where nicely updated. We had a small mix up with our pet reservation, which they accommodated by moving our room to an outside entrance. Housekeeping was having some issues during our visit and we didn't get our room cleaned. I managed to get our own clean towels and trash liners.

Looks good after renovation

Pros: Hotel looks cleaner after renovation. Room was clean, staff was cooperative. Breakfast was good and had a hotel staff covering all the time.
Cons: There can be a little covered pathway to pool.
Location: Close to ocean.

Took kids for a beach adventure. Weather was a little poor. Kids enjoyed the pool and hot tub.

Mediocre accommodation

This place is great for big families on a budget. In need of a renovation, the place was a little worn down. Had cigarette smoke coming in through our bathroom fan at 11:00 at night and still smelled it in the morning! Not Ok. Night staff tried to offer a 10% discount and said they couldn't do anything about it. I complained again in the morning and the morning staff moved us to a new room and discounted me more than 10%. Light in the new room wasn't working right. Wouldn't go back, but if you're with kids on a budget, it would be ok.
