Very good value

Posted Jan 1, 2017
Pros: Internet
Location: We do geocaching plus go to the beach
Hotel is on 101 but quiet and clean and very good beds. Kids like the indoor pool. Breakfast is a plus but some choices could be updated. We go about twice/year. Starbucks next door.

Pros: Price and clean.
Cons: N/A
Location: Only 15 minutes walk to Chinook Winds and beach, 2 minutes to Starbucks Coffee, and 3 minutes to Liz Sambo Restaurant.
I used to stay in Chinook Winds for Ocean front. But this time I did not need Ocean front and chose Ashley Inn & Suites, and the price was not even haft from Chinook Winds. Ashley has the best staff, nice and clean room, free hot break first. Only 15 minutes walk to Chinook Winds and beach, 2 minutes to Starbucks Coffee, and 3 minutes to Liz Sambo Restaurant.

Pros: Very nice desk staff, nice room, and for my stay, good value.
Cons: Breakfast. Just make it a buffet, and use real plates and metal flatware. Don't advertise it as open until 11 and then shut down at 10:00.
Location: Walk the beach, watch the ocean. Go to the Spirit Mtn casino 1/2 hour up the road (not Chinoook winds - too smoky, unfriendly staff).
Super nice check-in staff. Room was fine -shower had a constant drip. The morning breakfast raises expectations that are not met. You must order the hot food from a menu, but the food is not prepared to order; it is kept warm in the back, then put on a plate when ordered and brought to you with plastic utensils. Basically, it was a controlled version of what you'd get at a Fairfield or Springfield suites buffet, except there are fewer options, and you don't get to choose what you want, or how much. I got the impression that this was a way to keep people from overserving themselves from a buffet, but it meant that I was served food I would not have selected (dry potatoes and lumpy scrambled eggs) thinking they were going to be freshly made.

We were very happy to find such a great large room

Posted Nov 27, 2016
Pros: Everything, the cookies were great.
Cons: It was perfect.
Location: Nice town, really liked Lincolin, it was raining so we could not really do much, was heading down to Newport, but did see the Light Houses.
The staff were just wonderful, always asking if they could be of service. The room was so nice and big and clean, plus the Hotel was so nice, the Breakfast was also nice, would stay in this Hotel again, were are your other locations, had to travel from Oregon to Billings Mt. and looked for another Ashley but was unable to find one on our route. Great Hotel , Carol Bond

This is the besy hotel by far of our trip

Posted Oct 7, 2016
Pros: There was a comfortable sofa to sit on rather than just the bed.
Right from the young lady at check in to the gentleman at check out everything was excellent. The room was spotless, spacious and very comfortable. The free breakfast was hot and made to order. We wish we had found this hotel on our way down the Oregon coast. We would have stayed a couple of days and used it as a base for hiking. It deserves a ten plus.

Very Nice hotel.

Posted Oct 5, 2016
Pros: Nice people. Good Breakfast. Close to Chinook Winds.
Cons: The only thing that was different is the room had a shower but no bathtub. Not a problem for me.
Location: We go to Lincoln City a lot to go to the Chinook Winds Seaside Grill for Oysters. They make the best.
Very nice hotel. Quick check in and check out. They now have a made to order free breakfast which is an added bonus. I always stay at this hotel when I go to the coast.

Great quality and value

We were impressed with Ashley Inn and Suites during our very first stay. It has the look and the amenities of a more expensive motel. The saltwater pool is especially nice.

Friendly and helpful staff.

Pros: Its location, the staff and the complimentary breakfast. The room was big and comfortable.
Cons: Not so much air freshener in the room.
Location: Easy to find, close to beaches, casino and not to far from shopping.
Staff very helpful, room by elevator was still fine. Over all we had a pleasant stay, we will stay there again. The complimentary breakfast good too.
