Good Enough

Centara Pattaya hotel is a nice clean hotel that gets the job done. Like the quieter location but it is 2 minutes walk from the busier Soi 6 and 5 minutes walk to Beach Road.

Great hotel if you are from India

Nice reasonably clean hotel. That's where the good ends. On arrival hot with 3000 baht bond. Most I've paid in Thailand before is 1000 baht and normally ZERO. Hotel has 2 buildings A the main one is all for Indians. Others are sebt off to building B. Yes it's a fair walk from entrance and a maze to lifts and rooms. Pool bar specials advertised everywhere but I didn't get any discount the one time I went there even stayinga week. Food near the hotel forget it. Nothing local. 2 kilometres walk to Central Pattaya or Marine Shopping Centre. I read a previous comment about room service coming late. First day 11am. Second day 4 30pm then 5 pm. Next day at 2 pm I complained. I hate complaining. I was so disillusioned with the whole experience and being subjected to passive racism seeing how Indian people were treated compared to myself and Thai friends I offered to leave checking out of the hotel early. Of course they refused to refund balance so I had to stay the last 3 days with glares from hotel staff and room service alike. That end of town is not for Caucasian or even thai tourists. That is not racist just an opinion after 9 trips to Thailand staying a month each time.

CENTRAL FOR ALL HOLIDAY REQUIREMENTS

Pros: Special touch from the head chef @ breakfast time over asking for bacon cooked specially for me.
Cons: Have couple of items, bed corners rounded as cut my leg 2 times same place, room cleaning needs to be done by 2.00pm, had to phone rec. @ 5.00pm twice
Location: Situated ideally across from SOI 6/1 can get to everything within short time. Bar noise = 0. Has own baht bus does circuit run though day.
We just checked out today Thursday 04-May-2017........Overall stay EXCELLENT. Will breakdown facilities as used. On arrival outside hotel, staff took all baggage to reception then escorted us to our room, the reception staff were polite & greeted us with a cool drink which was needed.........Only minus is that they require 5000 baht deposit on arrival, if you don't know about this it can knock your funds back, you can use a debit/credit card as well, but, takes about 3 weeks to go back into the account. Asked for a high floor looking over the pool, this they managed. Room was excellent.........only problem air conditioning leaked couple of times, reported it got sorted out quickly. Restaurant excellent food selection for Europeans, Thai, Chinese, Indian, this is @ breakfast time especially, had a meal there though the day also in the evening both excellent & tasty. Even made me separate bacon in the mornings as don't like it well done, chef went that extra mile for me was a good touch. Pool bar was good, the young man who was there also sorted the sauna out for us, always with a smile on his face. HAVE PRE-BOOKED THIS HOTEL FOR LATER THIS YEAR............Jonas manager always around & chatty EXCELLENT SERVICE..............Rex (ex room 529B)...........

Rate Centara Pattaya Hotel

Pros: Great location and private. Good gym and pool and the rooms are very comfortable.
Cons: This time it was frustrating that the pool attendant spent most of his time elsewhere. On 3 occasions I had to wait for more 10 minutes for service.
Location: Bhat bus takes you up and down beach road for 10 bhat. Central Festival, A good massage place across the road next door to a really good seafood place
Good location and reasonable price. The rooms are very clean and everything is in good nick. Had some trouble with the wifi in places and I was disappointed that this time I was allocated a room away from the pool.

Great location

The hotel has a perfect location as it is in walking distance to the beach and to the centre and also not that far away from Walking street and other interesting places. It’s not noisy. The staff was friendly and helpful. Rooms were cleaned every day. I’m pretty satisfied with staying there.

Condoms, stains, and sass

Condom left on the bed and body fluids. Double twins instead of double queens were given. Hotel said it was the last room (it wasn't). Shouldn't sell something they don't have. Rude staff, know thai if you're going to try to speak to the front desk.
