Everything is 4 or more blocks away other than a convenience store and public bus from the hotel. Coffee, cocktails, smaller and larger restaurants are blocks away. Pheonix's blocks are not normal city blocks, they are larger. I started to use electric scooters which were all over the city - while super fun and convenient, they are a little spendy. If I had a kid(s) with me, I would not stay here for ease and sanity, though there is a basic park very nearby.

Every one of the staff members we encountered were so friendly and approachable. Breakfast was great with many options to choose from. Room was very comfortable and clean. Pool was nice. Close to airport and ASU downtown campus.

Very convenient location. Nice reception staff. Breakfast was good. Hours for breakfast and pool were great. Only drawback, our room did not get tidied for the full 4 night stay. Our garbage was overflowing by the time we left. The hot tub jets are a bit odd - not super comfortable as they splash you.

For the price I was expecting a decent hotel, that not what we got. The rooms were run down and in desperate need of an update. The shower felt like I was being pressure washed, so uncomfortable. The whole property seemed dirty and dingy. The service was the only positive part of our stay. The staff was very nice and accommodating. Knowing what I know now, I would have paid an extra $50 more for a nicer hotel.

Room smelled very musky compared to newer hotels. Bed comforter had visible stains. Elevator use is hard to achieve due to limits, for instance we had to wait over 15 minutes to get an elevator we could fit in with others, due to overcrowding, had trolly so couldn't take stairs. Bathroom passed the hair in the tub test, which is rare so kudos for that. Breakfast bar was fine.

Like: Large very quiet Comfortable suite. Well lit parking. Clean. Friendly n accomadating staff ...... Dislike: Breakfast - CHEAP low quality items. A quality pricey hotel should have efficient non sticking waffle machines ! Not one that is very very slow. No way to warm croissants n muffins....only a toaster. Oatmeal thin n watery. Fruit had seen better days. This same over 3 day period. .. No walkable restaurants.

When I checked out I wanted a printed receipt but the person who could do that was not at the front desk. I waited ten minutes but had to leave to catch a flight. Then when I got my receipt it only showed a 0 balance not what I paid.
