Friendly staff but outdated rooms For the price.

Posted Sep 11, 2017
Hotel staff was great and very friendly. There was plenty of parking but the rooms were very outdated and there was some kind of construction going on. Besides the outdated rooms it was a very comfortable stay.

Central to our needs, but may not return

Posted Aug 23, 2017
Pros: Location only.
Cons: See my comments
Location: Close to a Vons and some restaurants.
While this hotel was central to our needs during our stay, there are aspects that were not good. Toasters are on a first come, first served basis (cannot be reserved). There were no hangers in our room, but they managed to scrounge some up, but I should not have to ask (part of room preparation). I also had to clean the microwave before our first use. The top of the fridge was also very dirty. The hotel does not have an ice machine, and there were no ice trays in the freezer (again, had to ask, and they scrounged up 1). I had to purchase ice from the store. It took two calls to get extra blankets (and these were not even the same size). After we checked in, an exterminator came around putting in traps. Did not inspire confidence. Some items to consider if you stay here. 1) It is difficult to maneuver the luggage carts because of the way the elevators are, plus getting these thru the two sets of double doors was painful. 2) bring plastic silverware and paper plates and bowls. They only give you one of each item per person, therefore you have nothing to serve on. 3) it is difficult to turn into the hotel when traveling south on the street. You have to turn into a connecting parking lot with lots of dips and bumps.

We are happy you liked our central location, but we are sorry for not being able to meet all of your expectations with our service and facilities. We will discuss these issues at our future team meetings and will focus on ways to improve in these areas so our guests have an exceptionally pleasant experience when staying at our hotel. We can absolutely do better, and we hope you will give us the opportunity in the future to prove that to you. Sincerely, General Manager

It was a nightmare.

Posted Aug 14, 2017
Pros: No comment
We booked two non smoking rooms with queen size beds. Our friends arrived before us and were told they did not have a room with a queen bed and put them in a room with two double beds. When we arrived they told us there were no non-smoking rooms available. There were, but they would not offer one to us, they were reserving them for longer stay reservations who had not arrived yet. We offered to stay in a smoking room for a discount, but ended up taking our friends room and they stayed at another location. We showed the night staff our confirmation from Expedia that showed we had two non-smoking rooms with queen beds booked on July 11th. We were told that it was Expedia's fault because they do not confirm with the hotel what they are confirming. That did not make sense to us. It took about 30 minutes while the staff tried to resolve the issue, putting us on a time crunch to get to a concert we were attending in the area. The next morning we discussed our concerns with the morning manager and he was very gracious and did offer us a discount for the room we stayed in and it was much appreciated.

Don't do it!!!

Posted Jun 26, 2017 on Hotels
The room was dusty/dirty. Homeless people were in the parking lot, too close to my room window. Refrigerator and microwave was not clean. I needed to ask the desk to have the shower head clean. It was gross. No silverware or glasses in the room. I saw a client come to the front desk to get a toaster. Homemade curtains for the window and closet curtains. White plastic hangers (99Cent store). Front desk closes at 11pm so you are on your own. ...and that's what you are on when you stay here. ...at your own risk!! I did not stay the night/week. Got a refund. I WILL NEVER BOOK EXTENDEDSTAY AMERICA AGAIN!!! My picture would not upload.

last minute getaway

Posted Apr 12, 2017
Upon checking into room I noticed that room Wasnt as nice as I expected it to be. Bathroom door had stains lower corner (Pet urine?), corner by fridge spotted. I cleaned up. shower/tub had 2 pubic hairs on shower curtain, piece tissue in toilet . When I flushed the toilet it was plugged up. (I went downstairs to front desk and got the plunger and unclogged the toilet myself. I notified gal at desk about the tissue in toilet. Apparently, housekeeping not doing their job). There was also a piece of white tape with writing on one of the pillowcases. Room had slight smell like cat or dog. I usually would notify hotel front desk and try to fix the issues or ask for room change but I tired so I didnt bother. Elevator reeked of cigarette. Hotel staff friendly.

Quiet, good location

Posted Mar 28, 2017
This place is tucked away in a nice area. It's a short uber ride to the trendier areas like North Park. It's clean and everyone was friendly. The only thing that wasn't great was the shower water temperture. The hottest it would go was lukewarm. We were only there for a night, it was great.
