What a dump

Pros: Nothing
Cons: Everything
Crazy that they charge $200 a nigh for this dump. Everythign is old and gross and unclean. No toilet paper, etc. Go elsewhere.

Hotel has no restaurant and within walking distance.Room had a bath faucett pouring (not dripping) water,in spite of me complaining twice,it was not fixed -ironic that the bathroom had a sign that San Diegoi is experiencing a severe water shortage.I changed rooms....

Very disappointed

The room had a lot of dust. The light fixture in the kitchen area was falling off, the microwave was dirty and the towels were old and torn. The beds were very uncomfortable.

Good stay near the office

Good little spot near my office. The best bang for your buck types of place in expensive Sorrento Valley

Just smelley and old

The hotel room was just simple neglected, smelly, etc. but what could you say for $120 a night.

never stay here if you want to check in quickly

Pros: it was close to where my meetings were located
Cons: more than 1 staff member for front desk so someone is always there.
i tried checking in at 7:45pm and there was a sign saying "on dinner break until 8:25pm". i had a dinner meeting at 8:15pm so i just decide i'll goto it in my current state without freshening up first. i come back around 9:40pm and still need to check in. i go to front desk and there is another sign saying "On break until 9:50pm". at this point i'm just really mad. i had a very long day, was hot, sweaty, and tired and just wanted to goto my room and take a shower but every time i tried to check in i was met with a sign and some random time of return. this is unacceptable and there should always be someone at the front for guests. i will not stay here again. the room itself had some upgraded materials and appeared clean but it also had older kitchen appliances and looked very cheap.

Other Extended Stays are Cleaner

Pros: Not a whole lot.
Cons: Cleaner/replaced carpet. Cleaner kitchen floor.
Location: Location is ok; grocery stores, gas, places to eat are within reasonable driving distance.
Carpet was dirty, with stains and other marks all over. Kitchen floor had sticky area from something that spilled. Have stayed at other Extended Stay America hotels, and they were much cleaner; this one was disappointing and would not be recommended.

Being an extended stay you would think they would stock the kitchen with the essentials...coffee maker, silverware etc. You have to ask for it at the front desk and that's a whole other story. I've never encountered such a slow checkin. What should take 5 min max takes them 15-20 min. My carpet had nasty stains on it so I never walked barefoot, the water temp was difficult to get hot and there was no cold when you needed it(my son was playing in a soccer tournament and takes an ice bath after games) Luke warm cold water tends to melt the ice really fast. We had our entire team there and each room had some issues, dark(looked like blood) on the pullout coach, mildew smell and more.

Nice and quiet

We went to visit some friends and family and our stay couldn't have been better. Our room was clean, it had a kitchenette to our surprise, there was good amount of parking and it was also very well lit. The beds were comfortable and clean. I would definitely stay there again as the area is in a business park so it's very quiet and will recommend this hotel to our friends as well.
