Place needs to be updated. Not as clean as it needed to be.

nice area

Room number 225 had very strong cigarette smoke smell and thick coat of smoke all over the walls and ceilings. I had very hard time trying to sleep overnight.

OK hotel, good location

Pros: Location
Cons: Breakfast, staff, kitchen stove
Location: San Diego Zoo and Legoland
The kiten amenities were not updates, the stove was "just" working, heating a pan of water took 20 min, so we could not expect to cook much.

okay for business travel

Pros: kitchen space with large refrigerator and large freezer space
Cons: cleaning the carpets or steaming the curtains. something to fix the smell
Location: nothing is in the immediate area except 4ish restaurants. Must drive to get anywhere else
I stay here often and my only complaint is how smelly the rooms are. I cannot describe the smell but as soon as you open the doors its there in your face and strong. I cannot tell where the smell comes from, the old carpets, the drapes, maybe the bed, its everywhere. There is a small kitchenette with a large refrigerator and a good size bathroom. The bed is comfortable but the sheets are a bit scratchy. Its not the most convenient location but it is priced fairly.

Cons: Non smoking room. but people smoke and the room was smell so bad we can not stand. we complaint and give us $24 discount. but still not acceptable. te

Comfortable and good location

Pros: Price as good and quiet
Cons: Cabinets in the room were cheap and made the room feel cold. I would suggest upgrading them to make it more inviting
Location: Good location close to I805 and grocery stores. Was there on business so don't know about what to do.
Overall the experience was decent. Location was great, price was very good for the location relative to other hotels in the area. Easy access to the I805. Close to grocery stores and shopping.

Don't waste your money!!!

The room wasn't clean, the trash was full and stinking up the room. No linens for the pull out bed when they had a guest count and knew we would be needing it. I cant believe I had to pay so much for the room when there was nothing supplied as stated! The lack of staff in the evening hours made us have to wait for the next day, ridiculous but fine.... and then no one fixed it still!!! Lady products in the trash from strangers, sitting for who knows how long before we checked in....yuck!!! Will never stay again.
