Dated and run down. Walked into room and it smelled musty. Went to close the curtain, the valance fell off completely. Tears in the carpet. Beds are very old. Two small pillows each. Fire alarm has a bag over it. Furniture is old and partially broke. Cheap office chair. No coffee cups. No soap or shampoo. Small tv. Refrigerator has a piece of duct tape to keep it closed. Toilet is not secure to the floor. Shower has old crusty shower head and missing the grab bar on the side. Rusty holes where the grab bar screws were. Some funky plastic thing stuck on shower wall. All corners of room has damaged sheet rock. Cracked tiles in the bathroom area. Outside is dirty. Pool area not clean. Nothing like the pictures. No continental breakfast. Will never stay her again.

The room had mold on the ceiling and and the window. There was a musky smell. It was clean, don't have complaints regarding housekeeping since they are not responsible for the maintenance. I stayed one night and checked out the next morning and notified staff. I have sent an email and no one has reached out. I'm now allergic to mold and can't be in places with it. This is conerning because we rented the hotel because the place we rent has mold and I am now allergic to mold. It was late when we checked in and had to work the next morning. I've reached out to get a refund but nothing has happened so far.

Hotel locates in residential area, next to hotel theres a restaurant/bar. They require a $100 deposit when check in. Overall good place for the price to spend the night

The place is fine for what you’re paying for, a quiet and clean place to sleep. I was taken aback when they asked for a $100 deposit, in cash. This was never noted anywhere in our reservation and of course I didn’t have it, so they asked us to pay with a card. Hopefully I will be getting it back in a few days.

Property was on a residential street but most units backed up immediately to a major highway and we're very noisy all night. Heating system worked well. TV was not even plugged in. No tissues, no hand lotion, no shampoo or conditioner for the shower.. breakfast was extremely basic with Cheerios and frosted flakes, very weak coffee and oranges and apples. No information was given about the Wi-Fi when checking in and telephone did not seem to work. I would not stay here again.

It’s in a quiet area and shopping is withing driving distance. The price is good and the rooms are clean and decent. I’ve stayed here a couple times and have had no problems whatsoever. The staff are friendly and respectful.

I actually ended up not staying. First, they wanted to charge me $15 to check in 2 hours early. So I left and came back 1 1/2 hours after check in time. Then they wanted me to hand them $100 cash for them to hold on deposit. In all my extensive traveling I have never been asked such s thing. Not only did I not have that on me, but I wouldn’t have handed them cash anyway. They put my deposit on my card. I drove around back to where my room was. It didn’t look incredibly safe, had outside entrance direct to room and was right next to the freeway. I went to my room. I opened the door and the room and found it had not been serviced. It smelled and was a disaster. I went back to the lobby (which by the way, also smelled) and requested a refund so I could go elsewhere. They charged me $25 to cancel a room that wasn’t even ready for me.

Ok but not great
So, I want to start off by saying the pro's. The only oro was that the bedding and towels were clean and the bathroom was updated. Other than that, it's a standard motel that was not worth the price. I ask booked through Hotels.com and nowhere in the description did it say that a $100 cash security deposit is required. I don't normally travel with alot of cash so this was an issue. They did not offer any shampoo/conditioners and the bathroom was tiny. Also cleaning services for the room is only available upon request. It also said it was less than a mile from SDSU but unless you want to cross a major freeway, there is no way to walking to the campus from this hotel. Again, honestly not worth the rate they charged.

Rude staff that needs education on common sense and how to speak to people, dirty smelly room, not enough towels, no conditioner and only tiny shampoo bottle available, also old dirty furniture. They only take cash for safety deposit, if you don't have cash, they have ATM which charges for withdrawal. Also, when you check out they leave you waiting to go check the room to see if they can keep the deposit! I really felt uncomfortable waiting outside while a man goes to my room to check if i can get my money back or not. Will never come here again or to any rodeway because of this experience.

I was looking for a hotel close to SDSU for a concert I was attending. After booking and without any prior notice I was required to pay a $100 cash deposit at check in. I asked why they wouldn't take a credit card and they said customers were upset it took 5-7 days for a refund on their card. So, when I checked out they made me wait 15 minutes to inspect my room to get my cash deposit. I believe that is why you take a credit card for a deposit, so that there is a quick and easy check-out. The room was tiny and the mattress' were old and uncomfortable. Definitely will not stay there again.
