A short stay in Padova

Posted Oct 24, 2017
Pros: Vicinity to sites and train station, cleanliness, a very good breakfast, quiet at night. The staff were great and helpful.
Location: It is a 7 minute walk from the train station and a 10 minute walk to the town center. Could not be more convenient. It seems like its in the outskir
The hotel was more than I imagined. Short walking distance to everything. Friendly and helpful staff and a very nice hotel.

Easy Walking

Posted Oct 6, 2017
Easy walking distance from the Padua Train Station...although be very sure about how to get there before setting out from the Station. You can easily get yourself lost. The hotel's exterior is modest...the interior is well maintained and cared for. The reception staff are friendly and helpful. Easy walking distance to the central City and the Pontifical Basilica of Saint Anthony of Padua and other great sites. Healthy complimentary breakfast with lots of choice. This hotel has a beautiful little garden for enjoying that second cup of coffee while planning your day. Overall, the accommodation is clean, safe and feels like home. https://www.tripadvisor.ca/ShowUserReviews-g187867-d237359-r530276381-Hotel_Al_Cason-Padua_Province_of_Padua_Veneto.html#

OK Hotel, 10 Minute walk to Centre

Posted Aug 27, 2017
Hotel Room was dark - even with all the lights on - and had only one very small window at the back which looked over old, dirty buildings. The shower cubicle (no bath) was very small and to wash lower legs and feet I had to open shower doors - I'm 1.66ms tall. Hotel could do with a refurbishment. However, staff were very attentive and helpful.

Very good.

Really nice hotel. Slightly out of town but not too far to be a problem. Very handy for the station. Laundry service is a godsend. Fill a bag, hand it in at reception and it is brought back a couple of hours later. Padua itself is wonderful with easy access to other cities including Venice which we did comfortably in a day trip. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. Would recommend this hotel.

A very nice family run hotel. Walking distance to the main attractions and very close to the train station. Good size room and comfortable bed. AC worked. No fridge in the room.

Very friendly & helpful; no language problems. Hot has a nice restaurant, whee you can indulge regional food. WiFi flawless (always good having a 16-year old with you ...)

Great value in Padova

Great value. Breakfast was above average. Location is very close to train station, convenient but not the most scenic. Friendly staff. WIFI was a bit spotty but eventually we got it to work. Stayed with our 1 year old, wife and sister. Spacious triple room with a crib.

Great Staff

Lovely and helpful staff, sharing their knowledge of Venice. Laundry service was excellent and cheap. Parking across the road for 5 euro a night (collected by hotel) was a great surprise. Hotel is close to train station and easy walk to the old town of Padova. Great base location for Venice, just don't forget to explore Padova as well.

I'm 100% on this one

Couldn't be more pleased -- delightful staff, nice public areas, excellent WiFi, clean, spacious, comfy room, and the breakfast was one of the best I've ever experienced - not your usual rolls, juice, coffee, and tired fruit but a real breakfast spread of meats, cheeses, pastries, breads, excellent coffee/lattes/cappucinos, etc. and an excellent bowl of freshly cut fruit. Just wonderful. Also a very fine location close to the train and bus stations. 10 minute walk up into the heart of the old city where the hotels are 3 times the price. I'd stay here again any time at all.
