no more than a 2 star hotel

Pros: breakfast was good
Cons: needs a total reinnovation and more care for the comfort of the guests
Location: it is located in a slum area, far away from any decent restaurant or supermarket , far away form any sight seeing.
This is supposed to be a 4 star hotel, however it doesn't stand up to even a 2 star one. The corridors have a rotten smell like a cellar, old shabby carpets, outdated rooms and bathrooms, mold on shower door and floor. Towels worn out and even the bed sheets were smelly. The conceirge could not give any helpful advice. the kettle and the fridge were not working and after negotiation they changed the kettle, yet they did not fix or change the fridge during our whole stay.

Worst hotel at this high cost

Needs refurbishment

The staff are willing but the hotel is in desperate need of some basic refurbishment and upkeep; there seems to be no preventative maintenance, just fixing those things which have actually broken. The saving grace is really the Ramada next door and its restaurant.
