    Journey's End Manor - Historical

Vacation home in Rutland with kitchen and fireplace
You will enjoy staying at this 1917 Historical English Colonial Manor where our later president Esinhower stayed when visiting the area. Located in the Green Mountains of Vermont and just a short drive to both Killington/Pico Mountains. It a great place for small family/friend reunions, small wedding parties or cooperate gathering. Journey's End Manor has three levels, on the first two levels there is a large eat-in kitchen fully stocked for cooking all your meals and a formal dining room. During the evening hours, you can all gather in the large living room and relax while watching the fire in a large marble fireplace (made with marble from right here in Vermont), also on this level is an old library with a fireplace that will sleep 5. One the second level there are four guest room each with its own unique name and charm. This also features a sunroom where you can watch the beautiful sunset. In the summer months, you can enjoy the large yard and gardens. It is only a 10-minute drove to the historical downtown Rutland. NOTE: This home has a separate private owner's apartment on the third floor. The owner has rented it out to a full-time tenant for the winter season. This apartment has its own private entrance.
