Comfy Lodge Close to All

Posted Jan 11, 2017
Pros: We loved that it has a beautiful lobby with a huge, inviting traditional fireplace, full buffet breakfast included, and a very large standard room.
Cons: We wished that the bar opened at lunchtime and stayed open through the evening rather than only opening at 5 PM. Our tub did not drain properly, but
Location: The location really can't be beat…tubing, skiing, restaurants, shops all nearby--you could even walk across the street for lunch or dinner at Moguls.
What a nice surprise finding this gem on the Killington access road. I've been to Killington numerous times and never knew it existed. A beautiful lobby with friendly staff and great amenities. You really can't go wrong for the price!

Great family place to stay!!

Posted Jan 6, 2017
Pros: The staff and the lounge area.
Cons: Maybe the rooms could be updated.
Location: perfect
The hotel itself is dated but it really does not matter. The lounge floor is perfect for families! We loved this place and all it had to offer!! The staff are amazing!! The staff was the best part of our trip. I have never experienced staff that was as kind and helpful and friendly anywhere!! We will be back!!

Great lodge, close to ski slope, nice facilities

Posted Jan 3, 2017
We stayed recently in the Killington Mountain Lodge with another family. The hotel is really comfortable and close to the ski slopes. The breakfast spread is scrumptious and generous. nice facilities to store ski equipment. Front desk staff members are very helpful and add to the warm welcoming reception. The hot pool wasn't hot enough the few days we were there - and wasn't worth the brief freezing temps. The central lobby area provided nice family games, and entertainment, which we all loved. Will definitely stay here again.

Average hotel with close proximity to mountains

Posted Jan 2, 2017
Pros: location, staff
Cons: food and drink service
Just got back from three day stay in Killington Mountain Lodge. Location is convenient to the mountains, ~3 minute ride by car/shuttle. Facilities itself are a bit outdated. Food/drink service is terrible, one person was handling service for food and drinks for the entire hotel. Staff is very attentive and assisted with reservations to area restaurants. Next time I would first look for another hotel, but given limited options in the area, would stay here again.

Hot tub water was luke warm, Killington has better value elsewhere

Could be nice with some Hotel Supervision.

Great location, newly renovated. Very nice common rooms with huge fireplaces... that were often left to burn out. I started a few fires myself in the days I was there because they hadn't been started by staff. everyone wants to wake up and have a coffee in front of the fire!! the hot tub was often cold due to problems (they also never cover it and that must cost them a fortune not to mention why it always breaks). The room was nice and spacious, nothing special but clean and basic. A lot of the staff was very friendly but seemed inexperienced. Common for the towel rack to be empty for the hot tub. The breakfast was good but the seating area was freezing! Our last morning we didn't have water. A pipe had frozen and the whole place didn't have running water. I understand that things happen but it's Vermont, -9 degrees isn't unheard of. I think it has potential to be a very nice place with better management.

Staff here is so friendly and nice. We enjoyed sitting by the big, beautiful fireplace.
