Can't wait to go back
We were very satisfied with out room and the amenities it had. It was obvious that the condo was used mostly during the winter months for skiing but we rented during the fall and still loved it. We were quite surprised that it had a washer and dryer and a fireplace. We look forward to renting again on a yearly basis or more. The only thing we were a little disappointed with was that when we booked it online it said that we would have 2 bedrooms with a queen and a king size bed but one of the bedrooms had 2 twins in it and the other a queen size bed. For 4 married adults it wasn't the best but we made it work for us.

Great Foliage
Went up to VT for leaf-peeping and stayed at the Pico Resort. The address on the paperwork directed us to the gondola at Killington - you have to go check in at the Killington Resort Grand Hotel. Then over to Pico for our room. Room itself was lovely. Clean, huge, balcomy, lovely views, sparkling bathroom and kitchenette. But the outside parking lot and the general use areas (hallways, elevators) - not so nice. Worn, not clean looking, parking lot was overgrown and not well lit at night. Also, when turning in the room key next morning at the Sports Center - bit of a teen attitude going on - 'Like, whatevah'. But I have stayed at Killington/Pico before and would do it again. One thing - no A/C, folks - sometimes there are no 'sweet mtn breezes'.

Little Pico Resort, A Big Surprise
As a last minute trip to Killington Vermont came up for us we were having difficulty finding a place to stay on a Saturday night. We were offered a Pico Mountain Resort condo through Expedia for a very reasonable rate at this time of year. The room was well appointed, decorated nice, Nautica bed linens etc, flat screen tv and very comfortable. These are condos belonging to people who allow the Resort staff to rent them out. So much nicer than the average hotel or motel room. Had we stayed longer we could have taken advantage of the cozy fireplace stacked with firewood and the large kitchen for cooking and entertaining. We definitely will try to book this location for future visits!
