The room too dark, is not as high class as the photos. The price is too high compared for its condition.

Great city hotelPosted Feb 16, 2018
I only stayed two nights but they were comfortable and made friendly by the staff. Only criticism I would make is the lack of parking. One night I found parking near the hotel which cost me 18 Euro’s. then the next night I had to use a multi storey car park about 10 minutes walk away. Which charged me 25 Euro’s for the night.

Hotel in quiet area close to everythingPosted Dec 19, 2017
Pros: Cleanliness, kind and helpful staff, location
Cons: Room can be painted
Location: See above
We stayed at Villa Victoria from Dec.9 to Dec.18, 2017. This is a very quaint hotel in the heart of Nice close to train station, famous Promenade des Anglais, old Nice , famous Negressco hotel, Place Massena... just to name a few. The staff is most helpful and oh so kind. They always made very good suggestions on restaurants and so we ate at some of the best restaurants: Lo Boccacio, L'ecole de Nice, L'Antica, Ma maison Marie just to name a few. The train station about 10 minutes walk from the hotel allowed us to do day trips to Monaco-Montecarlo, Cannes, Eze, Beaulieu sur mer, and even Ventimiglia in Italy ( only 1 hour train ride). We experienced the weekly market in Ventimiglia on Friday, great purchases ! Finally, the city was beaming with Christmas festiviities ( L'Atelier du Pere-Noel, the ferris wheel etc.) . The ambiance was magical ! Nice and it's surroundings, the people, the atmosphere, the excellent food and great weather even in December made this a very memorable vacation !

Avoid at all costsPosted Nov 30, 2017 on Hotels
The location is not very convenient, especially because of the construction in the area. It is a good 10 minute walk from the central shopping area and did not terribly safe at night. The female staff at the front desk are rude and require further training. Rooms are small and not well laid out. The only saving grace is the newly renovated bathroom. The food is awful. Avoid eating here, either for breakfast or the canned stuff they provide for dinner menus. Cleaning staff also did a lousy job. This hotel does not deserve four stars. Construction noise is loud and the area is dusty. Avoid at all costs, there are many better alternatives in the area.

Wonderful StayPosted Nov 1, 2017
Our first experience of Nice was perfect, staying here. The location was great, not noisy at all and 5 mins walking distance to station/sea front/ town. The beds were very comfy, we were well rested. All staff were more than helpful, and happy to give us advice of where and what to do. We had an issue with the shower, staff were made aware. They made no fuss and looked into it promptly. As this was not an easy fix, they offered us an alternative room. Overally we were happy we stayed at Villa Victoria and would definitely recommend.

Centrally locatedPosted Oct 25, 2017 on Lastminute
Villa Victoria is a pleasant old hotel with a lovely garden area for breakfast but is in need of a makeover and fresh paint on the facade, The hotel is centrally located and only a five minute walk to the beach
