Small low ceilings attic room

Posted Sep 18, 2017 on Hotels
Good location, expensive for a poor room. Also we had booked a taxi through reception to go to airport. When it did not arrive,we asked receptionist to check for us,After 15 minutes we got a taxi ourselves on street. The receptionist rushed out and tried angrily to stop us getting in to this taxi although the one we ordered never came.He was very cross and was abusive to us and the taxi driver.Overall an unpleasant experience. We had used that hotel previously but never again

Great location, could not be better.

Absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Porto. Within easy walking distance to the Rivera area and the river so you feel immersed in the area but manages to be a very quiet hotel. Breakfast is plentiful with a great idea of pressing your own fresh orange juice.

Good central location, easy access to amenities

Posted Jul 21, 2017
Recently stayed in this hotel for a few days and were very pleased with location. The staff were very pleasant and good choice of food available for breakfast. Especially liked the fact you could squeeze your own fresh orange juice. One small point, very British thing I suppose, but would have appreciated tea/coffee making facilities in room. Room was excellent, good size and very comfortable bed.

Good Hotel near Ribieria

Posted Jul 3, 2017
Pros: Size and location excellent. Comfortable and clean rooms. Great views from upper floors.
Cons: Breakfast typical continental,, more choices of cereal and pastries.
Location: Near museums, churches and cathedral. Short walk to Douro river quayside with loads of good restaurants. Easy travel to coast via good regular buss
Excellent position near River, sights and convenient for city travel by metro and busses. Small and quiet location with comfortable room and pleasant bar area. Breakfast nothing special but good facilities.
