Great location but disappointing room

Posted Apr 24, 2018
The location was amazing but my room was disappointing as my window looked out onto s concrete wall and so the room was very dark. The second window in the bathroom was above the kitchen and noisy. There were workman on the site, lots noise during the day and not at all peaceful. The towels were extremely old, frayed and had holes in them.

Close to everything!

I think the location of this hotel is phenomenal. It is within walking distance of the downtown area and also close to paseo de montejo. The hotel overall was nice and would recommend. It is also close to bars if planning to hit the nightlife.

perfect location

Posted Dec 30, 2017 on Hotels
The hotel is located in the heart of Merida. The restaurants and shops are within walking distance. 15 min walk to Ado bus terminal and car rental places. Plenty of local taxi and uber ride options available. The neighbourhood is vibrant and we felt safe walking around even past midnight. The hotel has limited parking spots in the back alley. Rooms and bathrooms are big with high ceiling. The pool is small but well maintained and perfect for relaxing time. Breakfast is not included. But 100 peso breakfast buffet offers toasts, cereals, fruit, hot omelettes, quesadilla and beverages. The hotel also has a currency exchange center that offers great rates.

Wait until construction is done to stay here

Posted Nov 29, 2017
My experience here was unpleasant. Although the gentleman who we dealt with in the end did his best to accommodate us. Check in was at 3pm but we did not get our room until 4:30. Initially we were only going to have to wait 20minutes, but that was not the case. When we got to the room we had no toilet seat and no hot water. The next morning major construction began at 8:30am. They were right above our room banging on the ceiling with hammers. The hotel would not refund us any of our money but it was so bad we booked to stay at another hotel nearby.

Clean, inexpensive hotel close to everything

Posted Nov 4, 2017
Pros: Location, comfort, price
This is my third stay in this hotel. Location, location, location. This hotel is within a short walking distance to the most popular areas of Centro Merida. The staff is friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The swimming pool area is beautiful and the nightly rates are incredibly inexpensive

Convenient, nice hotel close from downtown.

Posted Sep 25, 2017 on Orbitz
Pros: Friendly staff, location, cleanliness and found it parking convenient. "Domi" was always on top of everything. She should be the front desk person!
Cons: Air conditioning in Room 310 needs to be serviced. Male clerk was not not very friendly. He needs to be trained better for quicker check-in.
Location: Downtown and Paseo Montejo are within walking distance.
It was not the best check-in experience. The reception clerk could not find my booking in the system and after a 30 minute wait, he assigned us a room for a 3-days and told me we´d have to be moved to a different room on our last night. We were about to be taken to our room when another employee told him that room was taken. We had to wait another 15 minutes and were finally given a room. The room was clean, convenient and nice with a Mexican flair. The only complain I have is a noisy air conditioner; the fan was rattling more than normal. Staff was amazingly friendly and would bring us fresh towels and toiletry items when requested. There was one day when our room was not serviced due to lack of maids but I do not consider that a big deal after all. The hotel is located walking-distance from downtown, which is convenient. They have parking for guests and though tiny, we always found a spot available.
