This property is conveniently located near the Atocha train station, the Estacion Del Arte metro stop, the Prado and Reina Sofia art museums, and a wide variety of dining options. The staff at the property were all kind and helpful.

I had a delightful stay at NH Hotel in Madrid! The location is unbeatable, with professional and helpful staff. The breakfast buffet was well served with a pleasing presentation. The only drawback was the bed, which was uncomfortable. Overall, a great experience!

Knowing we were flying in from the US and would arrive early I emailed the property to request and early check in. Never received a reply. When we arrived around 11:00 we were told we would have to wait until 3:00 to check in. After a long flight we were exhausted and my husband was not feeling well. The sofas in the lobby were miserably uncomfortable. We sat for about 3 hours before my husband pleaded with the front desk staff to let us into our room. This was clearly not the best way to begin our trip. The rest of our stay was fine. The room was nice and the staff was pleasant enough. The woman working at the guest relations desk was very informative and helped us make the most of our 1 day in Madrid.

The staff were very friendly, respectful and the facility was beautiful. It was close to everything. Everything was clean from the entrance and lobby to the restaurants and rooms. Will recommend to everyone.

The room i stayed in was right next to the lift and i could hear the dinging all night. The temp of the room also wouldnt go below 21 degrees. Not the best room i have stayed in at this hotel.

I will start by saying this may be one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed in. I am a business traveler and due to my constant trips, I am a Titanium member of Marriott Hotels. Since NH was started by the same developer that started the AC Marriotts, I decided to give it a shot. This is no 4 star hotel at all. It is 2 at best and that is pushing it. The staff were very rude and slow. The room barely had a bed with a hard as a rock mattress, a chair, and a desk. All these pieces of furniture were damaged and looked like purchased from IKEA or something cheaper. There was no complimentary water, no coffee maker and the toiletry items were not replaced and of very low quality. I asked for water and they charged me 4.5 Euros. I will never again stay at an NH property and will advise my friends and colleagues to refrain from staying in them. I am not looking for refunds, apologies or points. I just want to express my disappointment and warn anybody that considers staying here.

The only negative thing i have to say is that the toilet was too close to the wall so you couldnt sit on it comfortably. Otherwise well located and staff were amazing!

Easy access to Bus stop, Train stations and restaurants… if you are a person who lives watching tv to wind down before bed- then best to bring your own pre recorded programs - tv channels all in Spanish and movies are dubbed…

Too Expensive for tiny room
We were offering a room on 6th floor with view to park and VERY NOISY street – I Was told this was upgrade room – little more extra space and one extra chair. The noisy was just too much so we go with 8th floor standard room with NO view. Quiet – YES and extreme tidy bedroom and almost no amenities mean NO kettle or Coffee/The and one chair. Absolut NOT worth the 230 Eur per night here even the reception lady on Oct 13 was really friendly and try to help.

Good hotel option around Prado/Atocha area
The hotel room is nice and big for that area of Madrid. Everything was clean and the area around felt very safe. The hotel restaurant, Tablefina, was good, maybe a bit pricey compared with other places nearby but the food and drinks were very good. If you have a car, be prepared to park in an underground parking which is accessible with the elevator from reception but that is not own or affiliated with the hotel. Need to be prepaid on-line (did not work for me) or pay every time at the exit (max 31Euro/day).

The room is small and uncomfortable. The most absurd thing is that they do not have coffee to make in the room or complementary water. Lower category Hotel offer both and even other NH where I have stayed. The location is good obviously

Incredible location, across the street from the Atocha train station (speed trains to multiple other cities) and also walking distance from all the must see sites in Madrid like Puerta del Sol, Plaza Mayor, the Royal Palace, Del Prado Museum etc.

Loved our stay here. We stayed for 3 nights then came back after a different city for another night. Both rooms were very clean and the air conditioning worked well. The fridge in the one room smelled strongly of fish but other than that, no issues. The hotel is close to many restaurants and the train station which we appreciated. It is far from most attractions and the popular shopping spots so we had to taxi to many places but I did like the location.
