Pros: The distance from the hotel to Longwood Gardens.
Cons: Information on restaurants in the area and also things to do.
Location: Very close to Longwood Gardens.
This hotel was within a very short distance from Longwood Gardens. It was quaint and comfortable. They has a very nice selection of food for breakfast.

Loved afternoon tea!Posted Aug 25, 2015
We enjoyed our recent stay at this small, quaint hotel. The afternoon tea offered delicious cookies and was available for a generous 3 hour time frame. The dining room was cozy and would be wonderful during the chillier months with the fireplace. Great place to stay for a single night visit to the area.

Friendly staff, great location, facilities lackingPosted Jul 15, 2015
Cons: The shower ran scalding hot or freezing cold and nothing in between.
Location: Location is great -- five minutes from Longwood.
The rooms are outdated. In particular, beware if you like some quiet. We were in a room with a connecting door, and the conversation in the other room was completely audible to us even though they were speaking in a normal tone of voice. It was like the door was open. The construction is very poor. This tainted our stay -- it was supposed to be a special anniversary trip where we could get one night's rest away from our small kids. Instead, we awoke at 6:30am to our neighbors' endless conversation about who used what washcloth, what to do about the Greek financial situation, when breakfast would start (not till 8am, friends, so why don't you quiet down and go back to sleep?) etc. I can't recommend the hotel for anyone who is hoping to rest.

Good locationPosted Jul 8, 2015
Good location, clean room, couch was in horrible shape as well as the bedspread. With a little work this would be a nice place to stay.

Very enjoyable stayPosted Jul 3, 2015
While not a five star hotel, everything was more than adequate. Staff was friendly, room was clean, the recommendation of "Harvest" for dinner was excellent. I can only hope that we are as fortunate in hotel selection the rest of our trip.

Searched for a hotel room when a storm knocked out our power. Got the last room. Staff could not have been nicer. Hotel room was clean, we were provided breakfast, and walked to nearby restaurant for dinner. Pillows not do good, and no coffee maker, but a good nite sleep

Pros: The staff, the location and the ambiance.
Cons: A wine bar in the lobby. (It was there but not open)
Location: Gardens, museums and lovely historic area
We came for winterthur and were very pleasantly surprised to be staying at this delightful hotel. It is relatively small which adds to its charm. The staff was exceptional...there was a severe storm that passed through causing electrical outages. The generators came on,someone came up to our rooms and reset the tv's and they found us a resturant on short notice. They couldn't have been more helpful. The continental breakfast was an added feature!
