Excellent hotel in central madrid

This hotel was fantastic, the staff could not do enough for us, the room was lovely and clean. The hotel upgraded up to a junior suite which was a pleasant surprise. Not sure the breakfast is worth the £27 pp but it was nice. The hotel is situated just outside of the centre but you can walk into central Madrid in 30 mins and you walk through some lovely areas. The metro is just around the corner too. Definitely a 5*hotel.

Super friendly staff and great location

We loved the hotel, the location, the room and the staff. Minor point are the costs of the items in the minibar - upon check-out, we realized that we had to pay 8 euro's for the (ice cold) m&m's we had consumed from the minibar...

Wonderful Hotel in Ideal Location

Pros: The staff were very helpful and the location was superb.
Cons: The hotel has very little to improve. I was surprised about the lack of ramps around the entrance and route you needed to take to find the gym.
Location: The location gives easy access to the Metro. Outside of the hotel the main road has a pleasant path down the middle which leads into the city centre.
The hotel is well presented and what you would expect from a 5 star one. The staff were very helpful, especially the Guest Relations team. We did not try the breakfast, given the expense, but were able to find many other places to eat nearby. Indeed, the location of the hotel was its biggest selling point. It is outside of the noisy city centre, but has a Metro station virtually outside.

Excellent hotel staff

Pros: The room was spacious and well laid-out.
The hotel staff were extraordinary proficient in responding to out requests. The concierge desk personnel were particularly effective.

5 star hotel, 3.5 star service

5 star physical accommodation. Very near public transportation. Excellent breakfast. The service sadly did not rise to the level of 5 stars. While the basic services were just fine, the staff just did not go beyond the norm, as one would expect from a hotel of this class. I was leaving a day earlier than my husband, and only learned by chance that there was a taxi strike the next morning. The hotel did not warn the guests about this, and when I asked them how to get to the airport at 6:30 am, they just laughed and said , "take the subway."

Is a nice small hotel with a great location in madrid. Great service friendly staff. We stay there every time we are in madrid. Great price-quality hotel.
