5 year old severely bitten by bed bugs

We stayed 2 nights with our children. We we woke up in the morning my son had welts in him that I thought were maybe from the swimming pool because we had approved hotel staff to see if the filter was on because it looked still and dirty on top of the water. They reassured us that it was on so we went to change. When we came back we could tell it was on. The shiny coating on the water was gone and it wasn’t still anymore. When we woke up on day 2 the welts were so severe we were shocked. We returned home and headed to the pediatrician where they confirmed they were BEDBUG BITES!! I contacted the hotel and they have not contacted me back yet. It’s a shame because it seemed like a nice hotel.

Disappointment

Pros: Great location
Cons: Customer service, cleanliness, building and room maintenance.
Location: The hotel is in a great location: right next to the interstate, shopping, restaurants, and not far from Wilson College and downtown Chambersburg.
I was really disappointed in my room. There was black mold around the bathtub; unidentifiable splatter marks on the bathroom walls; hair and dust behind the bathroom door; the curtains didn’t close all of the way; the walls are so thin that I was woken up at 6am by my neighbors; my deadbolt wouldn’t lock into place; the elevator took over five minutes to arrive each time I used it; the Do Not Disturb sign was ripped in half, and most doors had hand-written notes taped to their doors instead; and the staff was not very nice. I would not recommend this place to anyone, even though it’s in a great location. Perhaps it would be a nice place under new management.

Wouild stay again

Nice, clean, quiet room. Breakfast was decent with a selection of items including a couple of hot items. Wifi sort of slow. Wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

The room was surprisingly large but the shower had black around the edges on the floor- we found a syringe cap in a drawer and a dirty tip near the end table between the beds! The pool was warm but cloudy- breakfast was picked over by 8am without replenishing the fruit - won’t stay here again!

Nice Stay

Pros: CLEANLINESS IS OUR PRIORITY !!!!
The cost was very affordable. The hotel was one of the cleanest we have stayed in. We were there over-night to visit our great grandson. It had all the amenities that we needed for our stay. Also a frig and microwave were standard in all the rooms. Would highly recommend this hotel to all.
