Spoiled Milk and Arguments

The man who checked us in was super nice. We arrived in a snow storm and he had expressed how he was getting worried as we had a reservation and hadn’t arrived until after 9pm. He turned on the heat in our room while we unloaded our bags and two children. The room was fine. It wasn’t super nice, but it was about what we were expecting for the price. I will say that the room never got warm no matter how high the heating unit was turned up. The next morning is when things started to go down hill. We went to eat the free breakfast and we were again not expecting much, maybe just some cereal. I made my son a bowl of fruit loops and poured milk on top. I then began fixing my husband a waffle. My son said his cereal tasted sour, so I tried it. The milk was so spoiled and smelled terrible! I gave my husband his waffle and it also tasted like spoiled milk. We settled on some bananas and then went back to the room. On our way to our room, two employees were arguing back and forth. One may have been the manager, I’m not sure, but they were arguing right in front of us. Some was in English and some was not so I was unable to discern a great deal of what they were saying, but it was just super unprofessional, especially to be arguing as loud as they were. This continued outside of our room for some time. We hurried as fast as we could to check out. Again, I was not expecting much for the price we paid, but I was expecting unspoiled milk for my son’s cereal.

Right off 81 but very quiet.

Expedia automatically booked us into a smoking room but the gentleman who checked us in got right on the phone and resolved it. We've stayed here before and he's great. I probably won't book through Expedia again though.

Nice for the price

Pros: The room was comfortable, the staff was friendly and accommodating.
Enjoyed a comfortable night's rest. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable and the highway noise was minimal.

Cons: hotel needs to be exterminated immediately
Location: Chambersburg, PA
Had to change my room three times due to bedbug infestation. Never staying in a smoking room again.

Hotel needs some tlc

Staff very friendly. Plumbing and electrical in need of repair, coffee maker leaked we left a note but did not replace it

So my glasses work and all I could see was black hairs in the tub and sink and bathroom floor area. Unfortunately the pool was shut down for the season but was never advertised.
