OK in a pinch

Pros: The spacious room and friendly staff
Cons: The lobby, the front door, and the eating area. It needs to be updated, expanded, and improved.
Location: We went to a concert at Shippensburg. That's all we did, so I don't know
I would say the lobby and eating area of this hotel are its main problem. It is fairly dingy looking; the door leading to the front desk is hanging on broken hinges, and the breakfast area is fairly small. It's just not a very welcoming space to walk into and spend time in. If it were updated and widened (and the front door isn't automatic for handicapped access), it would be more pleasant. The room was fairly spacious, but seeing that lobby somehow made me suspicious of the overall cleanliness. The staff was very friendly and chatty, which was very nice.

This hotel was ok for a one night stay. Could use a refresh. Carpet could be replaced, bathrooms updated, etc. For the price and last minute booking it met our basic needs for the night.

The toilet had feces in it when I checked in. I've never had that happen before in my entire life. I could barely open the door- I had to kick it forcefully going in, and literally had to pull on it with all my weight, to open the door to leave. One light bulb had to be replaced, and I had to flick the switch several times to get the light above the sink to go on. The door to the outside had no functioning lock, and the door leading into the hallway had no door knob. There were bugs in the room- those little gray beetle type ones that roll up. Cigarette burns in the bedspread. Very seedy- not Days Inn Quality at all. Not well maintained.

Very welcoming atmosphere.

It is dated because it is over 60 years old but the staff was super nice and that more than made up for it. Large, clean, comfortable room. Professional truck drivers: Chuck will give you a deal as a thank you if you mention that you are a trucker! Well be back if we find ourselves in that area again.

Harley Davidson chip hunting

Pros: close to Highway clean lots of parking, WiFi worked well
Cons: a personality behind the desk at night to greet a tired traveler is always a bonus
Location: places to eat, shopping, wal mart near by
Hotel was plain but nice for a short stop. Next door to a couple restaurants close to my Harley Davidson shop. Night time staff not the most friendly person. Your in the public service industry sorry about checking in at your smoke break.

construction out front kept me awake

Construction right in front of the hotel took up parking and the loud noise of generators from the construction site kept me awake and I was there on business so I was disappointed

Great stay

Staff was very nice. LSU fan at desk very friendly, but did not convince me to abandon my Ohio State Buckeyes. Very pleasant stay.
