It’s just eh, if it’s cheap then go for it. There breakfast they state they have was two cereals and white bread.. nothing to even put on the bread. It was a joke. The room definitely was not deeply cleaned, cobwebs, dust, and just overall not clean. It was “tidy. I wasn’t expecting much, but even then I was a little let down. The lady that checked us in last night was nice, that’s about the most positive thing.

This property was old and worn out. I wanted to take a nice hot shower after a day on the road and when I went in the bathroom and saw a crusty old bath mat in the tub that was brittle and cracked with a black line of mold underneath it's just set the tone for the rest of the stay. The carpets were dirty. The the hotel had an odor. The only thing good were the beds were comfortable and the lady working the counter in the evening was very nice and helpful

There were several areas that needed to be addressed. The bedding was not overly clean and was a place to sleep and not much more. Neither the spa nor swimming pool advertised was functioning. We could not make a connection to the wifi internet and there was no support from the staff when informed of the problem. There was only a pot of coffee and "hot" water that was not hot to even make tea. The advertised "included breakfast" consisted of a loaf of bread and toaster (and butter) and a container of fruit loops cereal. The reality was not what was advertised in the listing. If the venue had been honest, these issues, other than the unclean linen and bed topper would have been no issue. Honest is always best.

I do apologize we do advertise continental breakfast which is cereal, toast, muffins yogurt and coffee, tea and juice the water should have been hot, yes are pool and hot tub were closed things happen sometimes that cause us to close the area if its along period it is closed we let the third parties know but they don"t updated fast enough.

Just disappointed this time around
Not so good pool and hot tube was out order yet again. Breakfast was so bad there was nothing out to eat but few muffins yogurt toast and little bite of cereal.

Sorry to hear you were not happy with this visit, we were waiting on a pump for the hottub, and our breakfast has been toast, cereal and muffins and yogert for 2 years it is a continental breakfast.

My room had bugs crawling on the walls, the carpet did not look clean, and a shelve had dead bugs on it. Was going to stay again on my way back home, but canceled my reservation. Place needs a deep cleaning.

I do apologize that happen we have had alot of contractors staying long term in some of our rooms, I will let the housekeeper know to do a more thorough clean, the carpets were cleaned in the hotel at the begining of January.

Front desk staff was friendly and courteous but interaction with manager was not, had to move to different room twice in same night cause heater wasn't working in assigned room, relocated to a suite because of inconvenience and manager was very upset cause we were moved to that room so he had staff move us to a room with 2 Queen beds, it was very dusty, I actually took a towel and wiped off furniture, headboards had a white chalky dust all over them and there was yellow stains all over edge of tub in bathroom, I'm sure there is some cleaner that would bring those yellow marks off , We had already had the original room with a king bed booked and we were reminded it was nonrefundable , we couldn't afford to pay again at another hotel or we would've left there!

For the cost, the room was “ok”…. The pool was out of order, and there were what appeared to be old bloodstains on the pillows; disgusting.. Also, the free “breakfast” literally consisted of some bread or muffins and a toaster. (And coffee). No bagels/cream cheese, fruit, eggs/bacon/sausage links, waffle iron; nothing. It was pitiful. We would have stayed somewhere else if we had realized the free breakfast is literally just toast…

I do apologize that should have never happened, I wish you would have told the front desk we would have gladly changed your room, Our hottub is under repair we couldnt let anyone into the area do to the fumes from the expoxy and the windows in the pool area were open it would have been to cold, as far as our breakfast it is a continental breakfast cereal, toast, muffins, juice and coffee that is all wyndham requires.

Heat was not working in room we reserved, which was king bed, non smoking, maintenance there could've get it to work so they were in process of moving us to another room which was their suite, we were almost moved and manager showed up and was pretty vocal about not wanting us in that particular room cause it cost more money, so we had to psck everything up again and move to another room which was 2 queen beds, non smoking , the beds were not all that comfortable and the room was very dusty, we were very disappointed but so tired, it was almost midnight , so we just accepted it and didn't say anything. We didn't leave cause we were informed it was non refundable and I didn't want to have to lay out more money at another place to stay. Other personnel at front desk was friendly and considerate of our situation but we will not choose to stay here again!

Just don’t. The reviews seemed decent so I decided on this hotel for an overnight stay. One main contributor to the decision was the hot tub. Well, it was drained 🙃. The jacuzzi bathtub was also gross and seemed to be cleaned on a surface level only. There were stains on basically everything from blankets and pillows to the towels. So my advice regarding this place is to just go somewhere else. Either choose somewhere cheaper and deal with the quality or spend the little extra for a nice place.

Upon entering the building there was an unpleasant smell. On our way to our room we passed the source of the smell. One room had their door opened. There was trash sitting outside BUT they also had bins of raw chicken. What they were doing with them, i dont know. I actually dropped my stuff off in my room and went to dollar general to get air freshner. While it didnt smell in our room, we needed to spray to just help with the smell in the hallway. We have stayed there many times while we are in chambersburg for sports but we wont be staying again.

Way to Go Brandon - A real good guy.
Brandon at the desk was super helpful. We misread the ad and thought we had to check in before 9:00pm when traffic held us up we were afraid we wouldn't make it in time. When we talked to him he assured that he'd be available to check us in until midnight. Big Relief! Plus he scrounged up some plastic silverware for us to have our little microwave dinners. We saw he helping other guests during our stay, so he was helpful to all around. Kudos to Brandon!

My wife and I booked this hotel for an anniversary get away. We always book one with a free breakfast, and a hot tub by the pool. We also decided to book one with a jacuzzi in our room for a little extra because we wanted our anniversary to be special. However, none of the amenities were up to par. The hot tub by the pool barely bubbled even with the jets turned on. The breakfast was very minimal. Literally just toast, cereal, and little chocolate chip muffins. They didn't even offer fruit. The jacuzzi in our room literally took 40 minutes to fill up to get it past the jets so you could turn them on. There were also stains all over the couch and carpet, along with silver nail polish and cigarette burns in the comforter. We will never stay here again!

Appreciated the cost that fit a very needy stop late at night - right off Rte 81! I appreciated the friendliness and cleanliness. However I don't think the room was reviewed before we came in - the sink was full of what appeared to be vomit and I could not drain the sink - too late for housekeeping. Breakfast was free but at 7:10 am was toast, muffin, juice.. nothing hot as option. Again I realie we get what pay for... Thank you for an affordable stay.

The place was a little hard to find at night, mind you it is very close to highway 81. The room was not very clean, there was no toilet papers, nor tissue paper. I took pictures and show it front desk lady, she apologized and said because the cleaner was a newbie. Some part of table was sticky, did not clean well.

Not up to Wyndham standards, even for a Super 8. Woman at check-in was nice enough and helpful in finding us a pizza place that delivered. Couldn't get TV to work past one station (said there had been a power surge). No bathmat for shower, towel bar broken, general "not clean" feel to the room. Sign at check-in said breakfast from 6:30 to 9:30 but when there at 9:05 no sign that there was one other than a few slices of bread in a plastic case and nearly empty cereal dispensers. Elevator attempted to close 3 times before an alarm bell finally went off, the door closed and went to the 2nd floor. Stairway was accessed from entryway without going into the lobby and door propped open so access to 2nd floor without key, going by desk, etc. Checkout clerk barely looked up from his phone when we checked out. If we have occasion to stay in Chambersburg again it won't be here.
