    A Truly Unique Place

This is a unique place to visit. The village was founded around an actual pulp paper mill in the early 1920's. The village became a ghost town after the mill closed. The area was re-invented as a unique tourist attraction. Located in the beautiful Lac St-Jean area of Québec, this is a gem. We truly enjoyed the experience. We had dinner at the restaurant, located in the old mill, it was 5 stars. Great meal and great service.

    4/5 Good

    enjoyable stay

Very scenic stream with rocks and a sound that would lull you to sleep. Historic village is remarkable. A nice two-night stop over.

    Pros: Historic and well managed

    Cons: nothing

Location: The historic village is a must. Can do the Sagueny Fjord in a day.
