Charming Hotel

Pros: The night clerk was excellent.
Cons: Could update bath facilities.
Location: Satisfactory.
In town for a funeral. Overall, hotel was satisfactory. Internet service left something to be desired.

Just like home

Posted Dec 11, 2016
It was a nice place to stay. Nothing fancy, just like home or maybe staying at grandma's house.

Nice for the money

Posted Dec 5, 2016
A clean motel with no frills, I have stayed there before - the staff is always friendly. Breakfast is enough to get you going, nothing fancy. Two issues: the wi fi doesn't always work and the lighting on the center stairway goes out when it is still dark in the morning, making it quite dangerous if you are not careful. Given the other choices in the area, staying here is a no brainer!

The room was clean and functional.

Posted Nov 3, 2016
Location: The location was the reason I stayed. It is a block off of US Route 136, and about 1/4 mile from Interstate 57 on the west side of Rantoul.
The room had a flat screen TV and a small coffee maker. It also had a refrigerator and a microwave, which I did not use. It was comfortable, but absolutely nothing to make you want to come back. The towels were small and shopworn, and the soap furnished was minuscule. The hotel featured continental breakfast, of which I participated with orange juice and coffee. The food was pre-packaged and all cold. I thought that even though the hotel was not too expensive, it was not a good value for the money. I would stay there again if necessary, but it would not be my first choice, and I would try to negotiate for a better rate.

Good for a pass thru or couple nights

Posted Oct 6, 2016
Pros: Clean
Cons: New mattress.
Location: Don't know just passing thru. Were plenty of fast food joints and fuel near by.
Staff friendly, older hotel, not very sound proof. Rood was clean and had all the amenities. Coffee maker, blow dryer, iron and board, microwave, refrigerator, tv and wifi. Good shower head. Small toilet old round front. Only bad was the bed it was clean but worn out you could feel the springs, needs to be replaced. As we where only staying one night dealt with it. For only $65 not a big deal

Nice Stay

Nice stay one of the beds was a little more worn and had an inwardly slant. Other then that was a nice stay. Have deal with neighboring restaurant for discount on hot BK.

Pros: At least it was close to restaurants and Walmart.
We were very disappointed with the breakfast. Cold cereal, pancakes and oatmeal for the microwave but with styrofoam dishes that melted and bagels. No toast or fruit or even yogurt. Not very appealing.
