The lobby has a nasty odor, our bathroom looked like it was under some kind of remodel or it was just a crappy that needed to be remodeled. there was no breakfast when we left at 8:30am even though we were told there would be. very dissappointed.

Rooms are updated and very clean. The common areas need updating, and cleaning. Would also love to have some options for snacks and drinks because there is nothing to eat. The snack selection was a few bags of chips and some canned soda.

Hotel “under construction” which made it Extremely Overpriced for mom’s weekend. Only one elevator worked and was very slow. Bathroom had broken sink drain, broken toilet paper holder.

The sign is a vinyl banner hanging on the exterior wall. The place was empty, however I was put in a room that was on the first floor looking into the atrium pool. They moved me across the hall to a room with both a mini fridge and a full size one. But the bathroom needs work, the exhaust fan doesn’t work, there was 1 piece of Kleenex strategically placed in the otherwise empty box, paint is smeared and tiles are loose. Don’t trust their photos

Had a notification about property that was under renovation did not see any of that but what someone may have called a renovated room looks like someone hired there cousin Vinny to update bathroom very poor quality. If I was the owner I would be complete embarrassed of this place

I was quite upset because the pictures on the site made it seem like there were bathtubs but I would have had to pay double just to be able to take a bath. There was a fake nail on the floor in the hallway for the entire weekend. I really enjoyed the bed and the breakfast. The staff was polite.

Get new mattresses asap
NYE package to see one of our favorite bands. Hotel is obviously in the midst of updating. The mattress was horrible. It was concave and we couldn’t sleep without ending up in the middle of the bed. Woke up with body soreness. The newer parts of the room we stayed in were nice, but not very clean. Nowhere in shower to put your soap or shampoo bottles etc. Wine frig is nice but stays lit up and we like to sleep in a dark room. 2nd floor has obvious horrible smell of pot being grown. Noticed there was one room that had tape at bottom of door. Seemed like someone had a pot growing room going on. Very strong smell!

It's time to remodel
You can tell that the property is financially stressed. About fifteen years ago it was probably amazing. But now it is in serious need of a rehab. From elevators so old that they need to be completely replaced, to a hot breakfast that looks NOTHING like in their pictures.

The property is far from campus, if staying for that reason, strange layout, and 2 stairways that open outside and not into the hotel, if need to take the stairs, elevators are very slow.

Avoid this hotel
The hotel is a mess. Only one elevator works and it's laughably slow. The wifi didn't work my second night. The TV didn't work my first night. Housekeeping didn't leave shampoo or conditioner for my second day. The light in the see-through refrigerator door was annoyingly bright. My door didn't fit so it scraped loudly on the floor when opened and closed. The interior of the hotel is old and outdated.

Employees are pleasant and nice but that’s about where the good stops for this place. It is decrepit, dirty, and humid. I’m not sure how anyone can keep this place open for occupancy in this condition.

Front desk was great! Just genuine nice people that took their job seriously. The Hispanic young man that checked us in was very helpful. This is the fourth hotel I have stayed in over the last four weeks and not a five star hotel but a five star front staff.

I rented at this hotel because I was told that the hotel was under construction, but they were doing a "soft opening" I thought that meant that I would get a re-modeled room. Instead I got a old dirty room that was not convenient at all. The wallpaper was torn, there was rust around the tub and there was no where to unpack our clothing, The reception desk brought us extra hangers when we asked about a place to put our clothing. The receptionist brought us the hangers with a really bad attitude. The breakfast was awful also.

Great location and proximity to campus. Very comfortable room and bed. I would like to see the second elevator in working order. With only two in the facility, one of which was out of service, it was slow getting up and down to the floors. Also, I know they are in the process of turning over the property but my room had peeling wallpaper and some ¼” holes needing patching. The wall could use a bit of care.

Nice Hotel
The room was clean, looked nice, newly updated room. TV didn't work the 1st night but maintenance came early the next morning and fixed it. We notified him while he was there the the shower head was broken, he stated he would come back and fix it while we were out. We were in town for the Illinois game. When we got i. That evening the shower head was not fixed. We notified the front desk, who offered to change rooms but it was late, we were tired from being out all day. Long story short the room had a few issues but the Manager Anthony comped us 1 night of our stay to make up for it. After they get all of the renovations completed it should be a very nice hotel.

Stayed overnight after an Illinois game, they are in the process of a brand conversion and they do mention that during the booking process, but it wasn’t horrible, things just aren’t finished completely. One big hassle is that one out of the two elevators is out of service. Breakfast was very lack luster, ended up going across the street to an actual breakfast place
