We loved this hotet

Pros: Old world ambience, comfortable accommodations, beautiful lounge, excellent location
Location: Steps to Gare Haussman/Saint Lazare and in close proximity to anything you could wish to do.
The old world charm and convenient location were superb. The hotel is located in a historic building built in 1889 and while the room was on the smaller side, it was nicely furnished and extraordinarily comfortable. The marble bath was beautiful, the bed incredibly luxurious, hotel amenities were excellent, and the staff's friendliness and assistance far exceeded our expectations. The hotel is located near Gare Haussman/Saint Lazare, which was very convenient for traveling to other parts of the city and to Versailles. We look forward to returning to the Hilton Paris Opera.

Friendly, Welcoming Staff

We spent eight nights here and loved every minute. We arrived early, but our luggage was delayed by a day. The women at the front desk, Anna and Valentine, helped lessen the stress by providing us with the necessary toiletries to get by until our luggage arrived. Their friendly, helpful demeanor helped brighten our day. The Grand Salon is beautiful! Theo and Ines were the best servers - always welcoming and friendly. The breakfast buffet is worth every penny and the service there is also phenomenal. Bert was especially friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend this hotel to others.

Conveniently Located Luxury

Location: Near metro, high end shopping and the Grand Opera House.
Our stay at the Hilton Grand Opera resulted from a different hotel failing to honor our reservations as booked upon arrival (and this on top of the pre-booked shuttle failing to show up as well). Our visit to Paris made a 360 degree turn when we arrived at the Hilton Grand Opera. The hotel GM met us at the door and rolled out the red carpet for our family of four, opening up the kitchen and making sure our family was fed, welcomed and comfortable. The service is out of this world. The bar area is stunning. We did the breakfast each morning, which had a large variety of options. Metro/Train station next door, high-end shopping near by. Thankfully (for picky children) McDonald's across the street. The rooms are beautiful, but very small (the only reason they didn't receive higher marks). One of the bags had to live in the bathroom just to be able to move around the bed. A tich more leg room would have been nice. Ironically, the bathroom was gorgeous, spacious and I could have stayed under that waterfall shower all day long. But as I was in Paris - I didn't! Oh - wifi worked well.

Great location which makes it easy to get around Paris. Close to metro, shopping and lots of great cafes.

We can advice to stay at Hilton Opera. Its location is perfect. The hotel is nice and our room was good, enough big.

Branded hotel that only looks good on the outside

When I booked this hotel, with its brand I expect a Hilton type of service and quality. To my disappointment it was not. Yes the room, the place was new and nicely decorated. But the staff (especially the concierge) was rude, with typical French attitude, who was not helpful when asked them questions in English.The room was freezing cold for 3 nights stay, the heater was not working even though we asked for it to be fixed. Wifi kept dropping off and inconsistent. They don't provide slipper in the room. When asked they said only executive room is provided with slipper. Even ibiz hotel provides simple slipper in the room. I got bed bugs bite Breakfast was bad. The poached egg was as hard rubber, not edible. We had a few items to be delivered to hotel and when we asked concierge if it's delivered the response was: "checked your room first" My mom luggage didn't arrive at airport when we arrived so it needed to be delivered to the hotel. I had explained to the reception to expect a luggage with name that is not registered the same as the registered hotel reservation but they didn't note this down. Apparently luggage has arrived and we asked concierge, they gave me a bunch of talks which technically say the luggage is not there. When I went up the room, the called and asked was your missing luggage only 1 item? I was shocked, I already told them from beginning it's 1 piece and never did I mention any other number. So apparently the luggage has already arrived. Horrible service
