Safe area, nice hotel

Posted Jun 27, 2017
The hotel was in a safe area as I travelled with kids. It's always a concern I have when booking online. The pool was great, the staff were nice. The breakfast was good for the kids, but no protein except hard boiled eggs.

We are very happy to see you enjoyed the pool, rooms, and the staff. We are starting a major renovation within the next 2 weeks and upon completion; will be upgrading our breakfast with eggs and sausage/bacon on a daily offering.

Hotel needs to be up dated. They should check the Scottsdale location for ideas.

We love seeing the surveys to see how we did and it is always pleasing to see the staff being recognized for their work. Thanks again.

Nice hotel close to the freeway and restaurants

Posted May 9, 2017
Pros: Close to the freeway and The Cracker Barrel restaurant
Cons: Nothing
Location: There were shopping malls on the other side of the freeway and several good restaurants near by.
When we checked in we were given a room on the 3rd floor. Upon going to the room, we found that there were several male youths in the room next door and we could hear all they said because of how loud they were. We returned to the front desk and told the clerk about our concerns of not being able to sleep. She immediately gave us another room at the other end of the hotel. We were able to sleep well that night.

No problems, just okay.

Check-in was easy, the staff was pleasant. Since my room was at the other end of a long hall, it was suggested that I park in the back, and use the back door. The card reader on the door would not work. I dragged my bag back around the building and was able to open the first door I came to. When I went to the front desk to report the problem, the employee immediately walked back with me to see if he could make it work, but told me that it was always difficult, and sometimes didn't work. The hallway smelled of disinfectant, the vending machines were poor, and one was broken. Breakfast was good, and the place was very clean. Front desk staff party much stayed in the back room, but were very nice.

So quiet you forget you're in the city

Posted May 4, 2017
Stayed here recently while visiting family in Phoenix. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Room was clean and comfortable. I couldn't believe how quiet it was, with it being so close to a main road. And it was walking distance to Cracker Barrel, which was a plus for us. One thing I will note is that we got a handicap-accessible room with a walk-in shower. Since there is no ledge, every time we showered, we got water all over the floor, which made it slippery. Otherwise, the room was great. Would stay again!

Thank you for your comments. I am happy the hotel was a good fit for your lodging needs and you found the staff and facility to your liking. We will be under going a major renovation starting in June and these walk in showers will be a newer design. Hope you get the opportunity to check out our new rooms post renovation.

Water smelled but room was clean.

In comparison to all other properties this was ok. One nice feature is they do not charge for pets. So that's why we stayed here. It was pretty quite and well kept. Easy to get in and out of.

I am happy to hear that you found the hotel in good condition and quiet. I am also happy that you were able to bring your pet to be part of your trip; and as always the no fee associated with the pets is a great feature with our brand versus our competitors.
