Dear Sir /Madam, we thank you for choosing our hotel to provide you with accommodation. We will personally address the issues that you have mentioned. Firstly, is the issue with the prices at our pool bar. It's not possible to compare our pool bar to other establishments, as the prices are not only morphed by the quality of drinks and food but also by the surrounding area which is not even comparable to other bars or restaurants in the area. Secondly, we do not believe that any of our staff, under any circumstances were rude or not helpful as we have been working with them for years and they are more than happy to fully help anybody! Truly, we have told you that it's not possible to bring your own food and drinks at the pool area or the playground or any public areas of the hotel. This, has nothing to do with the owner but with common sense. Not only we will have a huge issue with taxation if you bring your own food and drinks or items that are purchased somewhere else to this area but it is also a bad manner and we will explain to you exactly why. Imagine owning a restaurant or a bar and people just come to your establishment with their own food and drinks that they have purchased somewhere else , use your chairs, your tables and leave their garbage behind, all of these without purchasing nothing. Of course, you would be extremely frustrated and that's not without a reason. We, as the staff are not put into a difficult situation by doing what we have to do in order to preserve our job's integrity and the hotel's well being. The issues that you have pointed out are not representative of the score that you have given to our hotel, as they are almost minimal with what our hotel has to offer. Dear Roger, we thank you for choosing our hotel and reviewing us even if you found your accommodation lacking in some ways. A quick market search in our town will show you that our hotel is reasonably priced. We do not understand why you feel that the rooms are old as we have rennovated them the previous year and we cannot also understand why the rooms felt strange. For the pool, it's a general rule in Greece and in the EU in general that the pool needs to be cleaned, chlorinated and filtered for many hours. A pool requires a lot of maintenance that you do not see and takes a lot of hours to make sure it kept to the highest standards. Apart from that, it makes more sense to use the pool during the hot day and not after midnight or when the sun is completely gone. We do feel like the review us unfair but we cannot question your judgement. We take pride in what we do and multiple reviews boast for the size of our rooms and for their modern interior so we have legitimate grounds to doubt your comments.
