Great Play to stay for Business in the Area

Employees from my Company generally stay at this Hotel because it is close to our Office in Channelview, always clean and the staff are always friendly and helpful. The Rooms are both well decorated and always comfortable which is very much appreciated after a long day at the office while travelling.

Hotel meet our needs for the stay

The room smelled of urine upon walking in the door. Otherwise we able to tolerate our surroundings. After we had left I had a charge of another $50 dollars for a reason they can not explain and that they will not credit me for.

Wedding.

It was a great location. We were staying in Houston for a family wedding and it was a perfect location for all of their houses and the venue. Perfect.

Our stay was mired by the fact our daughter had an upset stomach the whole night. We didn't get much sleep but the room was clean and comfortable and I would try to stay there again some other time if we are ever in that part of Texas again.

Not a true Marriott

Dear Sir or Madam, We were very disappointed in our stay at this hotel. It felt more of a motel than hotel. I couldn't believe it was in the Marriott brand. Being a previous Marriott employee I know the high standard that is kept. Upon check out I asked if this was a corporate or a private held. I got my answer why this is not up to standard. I have many items on my sub par list. Beginning with check in. Average at best(maybe new hire). We were told there was a Happy Hour in the lobby. We attended with one bottle of "warm" Reunite Lambrusco. I asked if they had a Chardonnay or any other white wine. I was told, "to come back next week". I was floored. Then we had to listen to a employee on her cell phone speaking Spanish loudly in the same room. The bathroom door did not shut. The toilet seat moved every time you sat on it.The faucet was loose. The pillows were low end. The AC/heat unit was in one room only. The café had average food. I had to ask for coffee refill twice in our stay. Upon check out the receptionist was on the phone and talking to me at the same time. I told her we were disappointed and she said I'm sorry. That was all and she dismissed us with her call. This Hotel should be evaluated by corporate again. Not up to standard. We stayed at a Fairfield Inn in December and it was a true Marriott.
