Lovely hotel. Literally directly across from the train station. Perfect for a one night stop over for CRL airport. Staff were perfect, facilities were as expected! We purchased brekki & there were a large range of options! Large shopping centre & a lovely lil mining museum to spend a good day out in.

Budget hotel, U get what u pay for ! Stayed for 3 nights, air con didn’t work, our room wasn’t serviced, had to ask reception for clean towels on daily basis, room (119) overlooked back of hotel so the view was of derelict buildings. Handy for shopping (everything closed on a Sunday) and public transport (metro/bus/train) 3 min walk Area doesn’t seem safe, lots of boarded up buildings and bars selling “laughing gas” balloons

The air condition did not work in whole hotel. The hotel did not tell us in advance. As it was very hot we needed to look for another hotel, the hotel did not feel obliged to help us. We had to return to Brussels for an hotel as all around were fully booked

It’s basic ok for a stopover for airport or train,the hotel reception arranged a taxi to the airport and the driver ripped us off big time,definitely don’t use the taxi company that they used

Disappointed in Charleroi
Good location for rail travelers. Airport bus adjacent to train terminal. The next time I travel from Brussels South I will transit to airport directly and avoid Charleroi. The place is a mess, garbage spilling from all containers in town. The room was noisy from ventilation fan running outside window. They kindly provided earplugs on bedside table. Breakfast expensive for the variety so I passed. I have stayed in better places for less money recently in Europe.

The facility was good. Our stay experience was very Good. The hotel was very good. The only concern was the air conditioner was not working and also, there was no kattle in the room, not possible to make a cup of tea like we see in other hotel.

Way to expensive for what if is
Google struggled to find this hotel (wrong side of the river) It is a budget hotel (but no tea making facilities) - which for the price, you’d think would be included. Very noisy people in the room next door - TV very loud until 01.00, but that isn’t the hotels fault. Best thing is the convenience. 15 euro for a continental breakfast was over the top.

Dreadful Low Budget - Overpriced Dump
The hotel was massively overpriced for this dreadfully poor place. The rooms were like low end student accommodation. Sold as having air conditioning - but this did not work. The room was so hot and the beds do uncomfortable that we hardly slept at all. The following morning the receptionist refused to give me a receipt (business trip) because I had already paid when I made the booking. After several requests and being told that it was not possible - I told her I would call my card company and tell the the payment was fraudulent. Then as if by magic she could print me a receipt.

Completely fine!
Good hotel right opposite the train and bus station, and shops are five minutes walk away. Bed was comfortable enough for the night. Stayed because we had a early flight the next morning.

The hotel was fine but basic. Sadly the area it was in was rather run down and my brother had his mobile phone stolen within 15 minutes of leaving the hotel which rather soured our experience.

Stayed here for 1 night as we had a early flight out of Charleroi airport in the morning. Checked in around 8pm and the man on reception was very helpful and made us feel welcome. He booked us a taxi for the morning which was €17 but we shared the taxi with other hotel guests which the hotel arranged so only cost €8.50 for the 2 of us. Hotel room was very basic but everything you need for a night of 2.

Hotel itself is fine for a night, but the surrounding area leaves a lot to be desired! My 2 brothers were propositions by a man and there were prostitutes hanging around 😟

Staff were very helpful and friendly - Air Conditioning did not work which meant that the stay was very uncomfortable on account of the heat. They need to get on top of that as it ruined an otherwise good stay in terms of bed comfort, location and quality of the breakfast. Motorbike tour
Ibis would normally get a 3 from me. It's an Ibis, convenient, good value and basically just about OK. This one is well located in Charleroi, although having visited many towns over the last week, Charleroi is nothing to write home about. I have given it a 4 simply because the guy on the desk was so helpful to me. I think he was called Bruno. There was an issue parking my motorbike and despite the fact he had finished his shift, he helped me find a spot and get it in to position. We has a credit to the hotel.
