Appealing and comfortable stay. LuxuryPosted Jul 19, 2015
Pros: Location and Comfort
Staff were friendly and informative. The valet's were on top of my many needs to come and go for business and leisure. The maintenance staff stopped to chat with me as I awaited my vehicle in every passing. The housekeepers were professional and accommodating.

Was a great place.Posted Jul 13, 2015
The only thing I would recommend is fixing the bed where they don't hit the walls or squeak. Figure it out. Otherwise great place. Will go back. Just put a towel behind head board for neighbors sake.

Fantastic place to stay in Historic CharlestonPosted Jul 11, 2015
I had 24 hours on historic Charleston. From here you can get most every where in the area on foot. Andre at the front desk was PHENOMINAL in terms of giving suggestions on things to see and places to eat. The rooms were beautiful and comfortable. I highly recommend staying here if looking for a place in historic Charleston.

everything was as good as anywhere I've stayed. The evening staff was most helpful. We left early and night staff was also the best

Nice enoughPosted Jun 29, 2015
Pros: The location and the staff.
Cons: Better notification about interior rooms having no natural light.
Location: Market Street, Meeting Street, near Old Bay Street, food, shopping, very close to carriage rides.
The hotel is located just one block off Meeting Street and one block off Market Street, so it's location is quite central. The building is clean and attractive, and the staff were welcoming and responsive. They secured us a pedicab within five minutes of our request. However, having requested an interior room, I thought this would mean interior views of a courtyard, not a room with no windows except one that looked into a hallway. I found this quite claustraphobic and you never knew if time was passing by. The room itself was very nice. (I believe we were in a wheel chair accessible room), but I would not ever book an interior room again. Perhaps this was indicated on the room description, but it completely passed me by.

Watch where valet puts your car!Posted Jun 20, 2015 on Hotels
The hotel was nice. We had a parking issue though. When the valet brought us our car, the entire side was covered with bird droppings. We had to wait while he pulled out a rag and tried to correct the problem. Obviously they knew one parking spot had that issue (couldn't have been the first time) but that didn't stop them from their $20 parking fee per day.

A bit pricey, but location were brilliantPosted Jun 8, 2015 on Hotels
The hotel is expensive then what you would expect to have, but its charming old style accommodation. Location is brilliant and the parking is convenient. You can walk easily any where and most of the sights are just few corners away. Breakfast was lovely on the roof terrace, however expect to have to queue for seating, as its tiny. I would stay here again, but the price is a bit steep.
