Marriott helped us through a tough time

We were staying at this hotel because a loved one was at a nearby hospital. We stayed at the hotel for 10 days. The staff was terrific and kind, the facility was wonderful, the food was a welcome break from hours at the hospital. We will only be staying at Marriotts from this point forward. Thank you for making a hard trip better for us.

Pros: Location and on site facilities
Location: Historic Charleston is a short drive or use theshuttle
Very nice well appointed hotel We were there only one evening and wished we could have stayed longer

Pretty pricey for what we were looking for. They did provide a free shuttle to Historic Charleston but not breakfast was included.

Feb 8th, 2013 Visit to dow Charlestown SC Marriott

Cons: A more cleaner GPS demarcation from your nearby Courtyard Marriott would help as its so close - 2-3 blocks sw. As that was where it sent me.
First time to Charlestown, SC. I came down to visit my daughter in Summerville, SC and her new family. I really enjoyed my one night stay at the Marriott. The room was very comfortable, warm and quiet. I had a very nice Breakfast the next morning and checked out on my way to visit relatives in Savannah, GA and another in St. Augustine, FL before returning home. Bill Butterfield

Great location Charleston near citadel

Very friendly staff. Starbucks on property . Great bedding and shower . Remodeling - new furniture in Libby and restaurant . Need new washer/dryer for guests.

Disappointed

Far way from attractions. Unfriendly reception. Connected noisy room. Wake up the noise from next room in middle of night. Disappointment!!!
