Fun getaway

Pros: We asked the staff about great local places to eat, and they were very helpful!
Cons: There was construction on both sides of the hotel, so there was not a good view from our hotel. The pics of the view felt misleading.
Location: SO many things to do nearby! Places to eat, parks, carriage rides, etc.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Marriot Hotels always have excellent customer service, and this experience was no different!

Too Expensive for the quality of the room. Lobby and meeting area is nice but rooms are small. Bathroom is extremely small.

Pros: Location food decor room great staff
Cons: None
Location: Close enough to town to walk... we walk everywhere....so wasn't too far for us....downtown was awesome! Plenty of restaursnts
Great place to stay for family and friends....walked to and from downtown Charleston... 2 miles at the most.... Food room and gym exceptional. GREAT STAFF!!!

Great staff friendly hotel

One of our biggest draws was the balacany listed in description... come to find out was not included with room booked. Staff was amazing hotel was Gorgeous.. didn't like the mislead from Expedia site.

Everything I Expected from Marriott

Clean, Comfortable, and Relaxing Experience. Wonderful Modern Contemporary Decor. Lots of nooks and crannies throughout the main lobby and common areas inviting you to sit, relax, and slow down a bit. This Hotel is equipped with an accommodating and efficient staff that I have come to expect from Marriott.

Newly-renovated rooms; nice gym

Really enjoyed our Christmas stay here. Our 11th-floor room appeared very newly renovated, but had no smell. The hallway had a bit of a smell, perhaps from new carpet or something similar. The room was bright, clean, and felt luxurious (also evidenced by the $6 bottle of Fiji water on the desk.) A nice way to spend a lazy and relaxing Christmas eve and Christmas morning. The hotel has a nice gym with all basic equipment, towels, and yoga mats, and free apples and water. We had it all to ourselves for a Christmas morning workout. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Parking is convenient. I would recommend this hotel and stay again if we pass through the area!

The front desk personnel were very friendly and check in was prompt. The lobby area was very nicely decorated and clean. As for the room, I have to say that we got off to a rather uncomfortable start - the first room had a mildew odor however, the issue was resolved right away. The manager was called up to the floor and we were immediately moved to another room. The hotel has a very nice and clean bar on site with friendly staff and there is a beautiful outdoor seating area to lounge and relax. If you want to be within walking distance of downtown area, this location is a little far to walk but a short ride by car. Overall very good experience.
