Disappointed

Far way from attractions. Unfriendly reception. Connected noisy room. Wake up the noise from next room in middle of night. Disappointment!!!

A little far from downtown. Shuttle helps. Not in the best area of Charleston.

Great sleep

Location: Downtown is 2 miles away so you'll need a car or ride to get there.
Bed was very comfortable, room was very nice, clean and quiet, staff was helpful and friendly. We had a very nice stay.

Great value with shuttle to old town

Pros: Clean and consistent comfort at Marriott. Shuttle service to historic area is great service.
Cons: $4 muffin at Starbucks is outrageous.
Great way to be close enough, but not in the hussle and bussle of historic downtown Charleston.

Enjoyable stay in Charleston, SC

Pros: Everything
Cons: I can't think of anything that needed to be improved upon.
Location: Close to Ashley River, the Charleston minor league baseball stadium, the Citadel, Hampton Park.
The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Check in was fast. The room exceeded my expectations. Great view of the Ashley River and the Citadel. I will return to this hotel every time I return to Charleston.

Nice hotel close to downtown.

Pros: Hotel provided free shuttle to/from the downtown area. Room with balcony highly recommended. King size bed was very comfortable.
Cons: Bathroom needs remake. Floor behind toilet dirty, paint on outlets, shower grout dirty. Request for additional coffee and sugar went unnoticed.
Spent 5 nights over Christmas holiday. Christmas dinner was excellent. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Will stay here on next visit.

Perfect for our girls weekend

We enjoyed the hotel. The breakfast was wonderful. Rooms were comfy and clean. The courtyard patio was awesome! Loved the shuttle service to downtown!

quick ride to campus

Parking a challenge; clean and good rooms. Quick 6 block drive to College of Charleston. But too expensive at $245 a night.
