Located in major medical district and inexpensive. Dash-Carta is next door for access to free bus transportation to and through major French Quarter, Historic District and don’t miss tours (e.g. Fort Sumter or Aquarium). Just not walking distance to any restaurants or stores.

It is an older property but it was clean and the bed was comfortable. Staff addressed questions quickly. Breakfast was tasty. It was a bit noisy in my room when people were in the hallway and the parking lot even with valet services is a little wonky but overall I had a good experience. Would stay here again.

Management was very friendly. Demarco was extremely helpful. New front desk person was very nice too. Everything was clean and nice. Very convenient to MUSC Hospital which was important as wife had surgery. Definitely recommend! Stay was perfect!

The property is a little dated and I'm not really sure what makes this hotel think that they can charge "resort fees". Just because they have a pool, does not make it a resort. But overall the place was fine. I felt safe my entire visit. Staff was great.

Where do I begin! This hotel is VERY OUTDATED!!!! If you have other options ( and you do) Do Not Stay here. That place is filthy. The front entrance is very worn and old looking, the entrance stairs are broken in chips pieces, that carpet is stuck to the ground. I have no idea why they charge a resort fee!? There's ARE NO AMENITIES other than a free breakfast...not good Our room smelled like a dog! I had to get Lysol, air fresheners and scented candles for our entire stay. The bathroom was simply dirty!! Hair every where, the bottom of the toilet had so much hair around it. Lots of Body hair or dog hair was in the tub so clearly housekeeping did not even rinse the tub out let alone cleaned it . There was trash already on the floor when we checked in, ( in the bathroom and under the work desk) that shower curtain should be in the trash! It was filthy and the whole thing was torn!!!I'm surprised it was still hanging on. The dollar store has plenty.. Expedia, you should remove this hotel from your list....it is old and dirty!! I would never, ever stay there again! I tried getting my resort fee reimbursed, they charge $15 a day and again Why???

The service was great. We had to valet the car every time we came and went, which I thought was going to be annoying, but the way they have it set up is really efficient and we never had to wait more than 2 min. Breakfast was good. The rooms are a little run down and there’s not much to do right around the hotel but to get to where we needed to be was only a 8 min drive.

We had a lot of extra room with the pullout couch. The beds weren't that comfortable and they were doubles vs queens so sleeping was tight for 2 people. Otherwise it was fine for being downtown Charleston.

The price was good for being walking distance to historic Charleston. But the area was very busy and underwork. Parking was very limited which was unfortunate. Also completely avoid the KFC nearby it was horrible service.

Light fixture fell from our ceiling when I opened the bathroom door and almost hit my head. Told staff they put the same exact fixture back one (same damage from previous he first fall) and it fell right back down again almost hitting me.

The Breakfast Buffet Manager, food options, focus on quality and service were amazing! She was very friendly! Also the front desk staff tried came through when I called them frantic to secure any other room the next day. We couldn’t sleep well at all on the flat, sunken, squeaky old King mattress. The Night Manager called after all check-ins and offered keys to a double bed room immediately. But being midnight we didn’t chose to bother. At 7 am we gladly switched. Valet parking was a surprise. We would surely return!

Paid almost 500 for 3 nights and the pool wasn’t working maybe a heads up or discount should be included if the pool isn’t working especially since it was it advertised that it was working and is a nice roof pool

The staff wasn’t present when I left, the showerhead had mold on it. The room was very outdated and smelled of mildew. The bathroom was not cleaned, and the floor was disgusting. My recommendation would be never to go there again.

Was very pleasantly surprised after reading some negative reviews. Our room was clean and comfortable. Desk staff were nice. Valet nice but basically had their noses in their phones the whole time.

Was given a room with a single bed when I reserved and 2 doubles a sofa bed. No big deal. Fixed that. Next day I have a whole family randomly walk into my room as I was resting from my Childs heart surgery. The manager, Mike. Had zero comprehension as this is ridiculously beyond a safety concern, giving a very nonchalant "sorry" like it’s no big deal. Fast forward to later when I’ve called 4 times for towels an a backed up toilet and again, zero sense of urgency, a nonchalant sorry again, and when I asked for a corporate number he refused and said I could “look up Choice” because he doesn’t know what I expect. Plunger just arrived. I have to clear the clog myself.

Parking is limited at this location. And, the facility is not convenient to downtown Charleston and the many good restaurants and attractive tourist venues. But, the staff is friendly and helpful. Also, the room was clean and very functional.
