Terrible Room Quality, Close to Airport
Posted Nov 9, 2016 on Hotels
I stayed here on a Friday night and then again on Monday night. I picked this hotel due to the proximity to the airport (about 7-10 minutes). We arrived after 11pm on Friday night so our room was honestly just a place to crash. The check-in staff was friendly and got us a room quickly. We ended up in the handicap accessible room which was fine minus the bathroom which was honestly dangerous. The shower floods the whole bathroom floor but only the shower portion had a slip free tile. I almost wiped out when trying to exit the bathroom and so did my husband. The shampoo and conditioner provided was not enough for one person, let alone two.
We returned the following Monday night on our way back to the airport. We had a 6am flight on Tuesday so again, this hotel was picked due to proximity to the airport. We were placed in a room on the second floor. Upon arriving on the second floor over half of the hallway was torn up under construction and there was an entire construction crew there performing work. We had to navigate construction debris and equipment with our luggage to get to our room. We had plans of taking a nap before dinner and those plans were ruined by the construction noise which lasted until 7pm. The sheets on the bed were dirty (I found several dark curly hairs) and I ended up sleeping on top of my trench coat. The whole room felt dirty and had a musty scent to it.
