Good hotel great staff

Posted Dec 6, 2016
The check in staff was very friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. The building is old but Charleston is ancient. The price was great and we were only there to shower and sleep. First time in my life, that the maid service didn't wake you up at dawn to clean your room. Pipes need a little draino since draining is slow. Beds are smoooooch comfortable and cozy. Location is great too. Not far from city market and Battery, the waterfront. Easy walking. I was so pleased since all hotels were full or had a few rooms left for 300.00 a night. I saw those hotels and it wasn't worth the extra 200 a night to be able to see the rooftops of other buildings or have elegant wallpaper. I'm fine with decent hotel , good wifi for free, comfy beds. I just didn't like the 14.00 bucks a night to park. But I believe all the hotels charge for that now.

Great Location.

This Days Inn is within walking distance to so many historic sites, shopping areas and great restaurants. It is not an upscale hotel and needs some room repairs but it was met my needs for an overnight stay.

Pros: Location
Cons: Parking was disorganized and overly full
Days Inn is in an excellent location for exploring Charleston, near the market and King Street. People at check in were very nice.

Good central location. I would recommend .

Manager Star is a star! She was extremely helpful . Good room . My only complaint was not their fault . The couple next to me started screaming and yelling at each other at 1230 in the morning . Ruined what would otherwise have been a good night sleep.

Grest location - okay hotel

Posted Nov 19, 2016
Great location - hotel was fine but nothing special. There was a faint smell to the room, walls seemed thin, stain of the comforter, bathtub not cleaned super well and when we asked for an extra pillow they didn't have any. With all that said I'd still stay there again because the location was unbeatable we were in and out of the room all day in between all the exhausting exploring of Charleston !

Basic clean and well located

Excellent location, clean and affordable. Parking is not free. Had issue with showers as it wouldn't drain. I'd stay here again for the price

Nice hotel in the historic area of Charleston.

Posted Nov 16, 2016
Pros: We loved the proximity to all the historic areas of Charleston.
Cons: We were happy with everything.
Location: One block from Charleston's City Market, and numerous restaurants nearby.
We were very happy with our stay at Days Inn in Historic Charleston. We were only there one night, but enjoyed our stay. This hotel is within walking distance of everything we wanted to do in Charleston. One direction led us to the City Market and the Moonpie Store. The other direction led us to our restaurant, Poogan's Porch. What a wonderful stay.
