Great, limited frills. Very clean and extremely courteous staff. Unfortunately, the originally assigned room smelled of smoke but was replaced within minutes

Property was run down, trash containers were overflowing. Shopping carts randomly around in odd areas. The room was also run down, Spots on the wall and lights switches, paint peeling from the bath tub, thankfully no rug, but we still didn’t want to take our shoes off. Desk staff friendly and tried to be helpful but their resources were limited. Asked for 2 extra towels and they said they would bring them to me when they are out of the dryer. We paid $170 a night so I wasn’t expecting 5 star but I was expecting more than what I got.

The room smelled musty, the carpet was filthy, the phone didn"t work, the bed was way too soft, the pillows were crap, we got locked out of the room twice and the "grab & go" breakfast was a joke! The best thing about the place was the coffee maker in the office. Don't stay here.

I do not recommend staying at this hotel, unless you absolutely have to. The doors are paper thin so you can hear everything that happens outside your room, the hairdryer for my room didn't work, and I saw at least three cockroaches during my stay. Avoid if you can.

The toilet in our room wasn’t even attached to the ground so when you moved it was almost like the toilet wanted to fall over. Lamp shades could use an upgrade, almost looks like water damage. The shades didnt shut all of the way so you had to use a safety pin to keep them closed. Mattress upgrades are a must, the springs felt like they were about to shoot out of the bed

when checking in, we were told that our room was on the third floor and i asked if we could have a ground floor room as it is difficult for my wife to climb stairs, i was told that we asked for a king bed room and there were no ground floor kings, our room had 2 queens, still no help. The breakfast was a joke. the entire grounds and facility were dirty. the ice machine did not work on our floor and was told they were all broken but did find one on the other side of the facility. we will not be returning.

Receptionist was nice, professional and very informative regarding breakfast and location of my room Room had dead misquitos on the bed, bathtub had been badly painted and drain stopper did not work. Linens were clean. Breakfast was very basic, no one at the desk, saw a lady on a computer in another area, told her I had laid my key on the counter. Large group came in after and there was very little left at that point

Floor could have been cleaner especially around the bottom of the bedframe..i only noticed when i set in the recliner and it was obvious..the stay served its purposes. Would have been nicer if a second cup of coffee was available if i heard 5 more minutes one more time i was going to loose it, one thing if were late in the am but at 730 to 8am people are still need a jolt to get started.

Very disappointing- we turned up exhausted from our difficult journey to get there, took ages to sort a room out, even though we had pre-booked, the first room we were given was in the middle of 'renovations' TV ripped off the wall, broken lamp on bed, the next room we were given was very poorly 'renovated' shabby work, looked like a dog had chewed the corners of the furniture, dirty marks on walls, dirty microwave, no coffee making facilities, hair dryer didn't work- I complained twice, still nobody fixed it, our view from the window was a stairwell, the outdoor pool didn't look very clean or inviting, the 'breakfast' was poor- the first morning there were only a few small prepackaged muffins, a few more choices the rest of our stay but no seating area, I'm sure this was a lovely hotel/motel at one point but it is sadly neglected and poor management, the only plusses were the front desk staff were very friendly, the area is nice with a grocery stores, restaurants within walking distance, and a bus that takes you into Charleston nearby, would not stay at this Days inn again but would stay at another hotel in the same area

The torn TV and broken lamp in the room are completely unacceptable and do not reflect the standard of quality we strive for. Additionally, we apologize for the poor state of the next room you were assigned. The lack of attention to detail in the renovation work, along with the damage to the furniture, dirty marks on the walls, and the unclean microwave, are all deeply disappointing. We understand how these issues could negatively impact your stay, and we apologize for the inconvenience caused.We also deeply regret that your complaints about the hairdryer went unaddressed. We appreciate your patience in bringing this matter to our attention twice, and we apologize for our failure to promptly resolve the issue. This property definitely isn’t worth what it cost with the amount of hotels that are in that specific area this hotel should be a $50-$60 night hotel. The property overall rooms included are very worn, paint is peeling everywhere and everything is rusty.

The safety latch was broken off in the room we were given, we got a room change, but then the staff forgot they had changed our room and they assigned another person to the same room so we were woken up by someone trying to get into our room. Also the room was not clean, I woke up with bumps on me like maybe there were bugs

The room smelled moldy toilet keep running and there was a leak from the sink and water traped under the wood floor cause we could see it and the last night we stayed there was someone fighting and screaming keep us up until 3am
