Hotel close to airpory

Our plane was late and we arrived around 1:00am. I was told by the front desk agent that "we don't have a room for you." I had booked and paid for a room through Expedia. The agent asked me to wait a moment and walked onto a back room. About 5 minutes later, I asked another agent about a room and she stepped up, booked a room, and was done in 5 minutes. Needless to say, I was baffled, yet too exhausted to push it.
The room was large, but old. The bed was rock hard, and sofa had broken springs.
For 200.00 a night, the hotel badly needs updating. Would not stay here again.
