Great location. Will stay again and again!!Posted Oct 26, 2015
Pros: The room was very comfortable
Cons: Cheaper parking
Location: Right next to the City Market. Close to Battery Park. Close to King Street and Meeting Street.
This is a fantastic hotel especially for the price. It is very convenient to all the downtown attractions. It is right next door to the city markets. Very clean, and exceeding my expectations ten fold in all aspects. Highly recommend Church Street Inn for all Charleston travelers

Fantastic downtown locationPosted Oct 6, 2015
Pros: location, staff
Cons: a few maintenance issues
Location: Great location for touring Charleston-the historic market, shops, restaurants are nearby; close to shuttle stops and many attractions
The staff and service at the hotel were wonderful. They loaned us an umbrella when it rained, and really took an interest in our having a positive experience. The hotel is nice overall, with a few maintenance issues (due to heavy rains, part of our upstairs carpet was flooded by rain from the balcony). The hotel's location is phenomenal for sightseeing in downtown-right next to the Market, near the start of carriage tours, shops, restaurants, etc.

Feels like a nice apartmentPosted Oct 5, 2015
We loved our stay. Staff was super helpful and friendly. Our room was so nice. We got stuck in our room due to the rain and it was so comfortable it felt like we were at home vs being stuck in a hotel room. The hotel is in the middle of all busy streets and right next to the city market! Would stay there again in a heartbeat!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Church Street Inn. The staff were all really friendly and the facility was clean. All the activities you'll want to take in are within close walking distance including a number of excellent restaurants. We'll definitely stay here when we visit Charleston again.

Great hotel overlooking the MarketPosted Sep 24, 2015
Pros: I liked the fair prices, 2-level room layouts, and closeness to the Market.
Cons: I don't know of anything.
Location: Everything to do is within walking distance. There are countless shops and local vendors and excellent places to eat.
This was an excellent hotel. Made for a great vacation. The Market can be seen from your balcony. The Battery is within walking distance. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone that wants to be in the heat of downtown Charleston without having to pay some extremely overpriced rate.

Nice Hotel right off Market StreetPosted Sep 23, 2015
Pros: Friendly Staff and our 2 story room.
Cons: Make ice available near the room. The filtered water is in the Sales office and it is closed at times.
Location: Great location! Just a few steps from the old market. Lots of great churches off Church Street. Visited Patriot Point which was great.
Church Street Inn is a lovely hotel right off Market Street and Church Street. Wonderful location and easy to get to activities. The room was a 2 story with the bedroom upstairs with a queen bed and full size bathroom. The first floor has a kitchen, living room and a half bathroom. There aren't many amenities but they do have a very helpful concierge named Becky. The best part of our stay is the friendly and accommodating staff. They were so nice and helpful. I highly recommend this Hotel for someone who does not want to pay a bunch of money for a room. They were quite reasonable. I would stay there again!

A hidden Gem by the "Market".Posted Sep 12, 2015
Pros: See above, but let me repeat. Great friendly staff. You could tell they got along and loved working there. Great value compared to others near by.
Cons: The TV's were modern flat screens, but small by todays standards. Wasn't important to me. Staff wouldn't let me gig any Koi for dinner.
Location: Next to the "Market". Near everything you come to Charlotte for.
I got lucky in finding this place. It is beautiful, quite, and cozy. The room I had was like a one bedroom condo with two bathrooms and with real towels. The rooms are very pretty and roomy. It has a real kitchen, full size refrigerator with ice maker, but no microwave if that is important. There is a nice courtyard with a Koi pond. The staff was very, very nice. I felt more like a friend. I never did this before, but I took pictures of the room and areas of the hotel to show friends and others at my conference. They were impressed and came by to see it. They will stay here the next time we have a conference.
