I paid what and got all this??????

From the moment we checked in until the time we left, French Quarter Inn has everything you could ever want in a hotel. Receiving champagne checking in, to the breakfast, wine and cheese plus cookies and milk at night these are things that you normally would pay hefty additional charges for and these are ALL included in the price. All these extra's were wonderfully prepared and presented. The staff here was always super friendly and helpful. At first we thought this hotel would be very pretentious, but nothing could be farther from the truth. The rooms are very spacious and the turn down service with chocolates and water every night was a nice touch. Did I mention again that this is included in the price? The location is ideal for shopping, eating and being by the water. No doubt, if and when we return, we will be staying at French Quarter Inn.

Pros: ABSOLUTELY everything! This hotel has A+ service and quality
Location: Charleston City Market
WOW!! This hotel "blew" me out of the water with its service, the rooms, the FOOD, the decor...location is directly across from the Charleston City Market; at this Hotel, they provide you with free bikes to ride all over Charleston. A huge bonus and luxury which we did as a family of "4"; the hotel also stocked our baskets on the bikes with bottled waters as well. From the incredible breakfast, to the afternoon treats and mid-evening snacks...this hotel was a "treat" within itself and a real treasure to Charleston! A MUST stay if you are visiting the area....by far...my Favorite!

Nice hotel if you're not disabled...

I booked this hotel based on the advertised shower/tub combo. Because of my disability, it is very difficult to stand up in a shower. The front desk clerk Matthew apologized and said he could move me into a queen room and I agreed. He then told me he didn't have any queen rooms available but I could call him in the morning and he would "let me" take a bath in another room. After paying 375.00 for a room, I didn't feel like traipsing through the halls to take a bath. I spent the night in acute pain because I could not soak my legs. Never again!

Pros: It's appearance.
Cons: The patios off of the rooms are a little unwelcoming.
Excellent location. Pleasant and EXTREMELY helpful staff. Nice perks like wine and cheese.

Great place

Pros: Location, Bikes, Snacks, Bathrooms
Cons: Perfect.
Location: Shopping on King, Black Fedora for murder mystery, restaurants, rainbow row.
Wonderful hotel, excellent and attentive staff. There's always lemonade, coffee and ice water available. The rooms are clean, modern bathrooms and historic looking rooms with big headboards. The bike rental service is an excellent way to see the city. It's in the heart of the city but quiet as well. Highly recommend!

Great hotel great staff, beautiful rooms. Experienced total southern hospitality. Afternoon tea and snacks, warm cookie at night, absolute great breakfast. Nothing but great.
