The French Quarter is in the perfect location. The service was outstanding. Delicious breakfasts with mimosas every morning, wine and cheese in the afternoon and milk and cookies at night. Beautiful rooms!

Historic, comfortable, clean and friendly!

Posted Aug 18, 2015
Pros: Everything! Decor, staff, cleanliness, old-world charm. Great rooms and bathrooms with real water pressure!
Cons: Can't think of one thing!
Location: Right in the middle of the historic distance. Walking distance to everything. Many great restaurants.
We stayed here for our anniversary. It was our first visit to this hotel and we would definitely come back. Actually, we cannot find one negative thing to say about it! It's also in a great location...walking distance to everything.

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay. The room was awesome. Wine from 5:30-6:30 was fantastic. Fresh fruit each morning. Milk and cookies each night. Friendly staff.

From the time we left the car with their valet, to the time we checked out it was nothing but first class! I will stay nowhere else when in Charleston.

I love this hotel. The room was beautiful. The location is great. The hotel staff was very friendly. As you can tell, I was very impressed. My family and I enjoyed the complementary wine and cheese time they had around dinner time. I will definately stay here again!! Great hotel!!!

Fabulous Find

Posted Aug 6, 2015
Pros: The rooms were wonderfully decorated and all first class
Cons: Nothing...there is not a thing that I would change.
Location: Great restaurants and shopping.
Loved this quiet and elegant hotel in the heart of the Historic District of Charleston. The staff were wonderful and this hotel could easily be a 5-Star Diamond facility. Attention to detail was wonderful and the hotel staff were there to answer any question or need. We will be back...again and again.

What a nice treat!

Posted Aug 4, 2015
Pros: I don't normally like staying in hotels, but this was the first time I truly enjoyed every second of my stay there.
Cons: Nothing!
Location: Great location, right in the center of historic Charleston.
We drove into town without reservations and I had been trying to book something on the long drive. Everything was either booked or crazy expensive. Just as we pulled into downtown Charleston, Expedia showed a drop in price at the #1 hotel (according to Tripadvisor) that we could not pass up. The hotel was lovely, check in included champagne, cookies, and the front desk girl took the time to chat with us about our dinner plans, making recommendations and giving us a coupon for some free fried green tomatoes if we had chosen the place she was suggesting. She also upgraded our room (for a small fee) so we would have a king suite so my children would have a pull out couch to sleep on. The room was beautiful! I've never stayed in such a roomy hotel room. The place was spotless, comfy and just what we wanted in order to celebrate our daughter's 15th birthday. They brought a plate of chocolates to the room as well as bottles of water and the kind chambermaid set up the sofa bed for the kids. They also had warm cookies, milk and sherry down in the lobby area. Such pampering! We all slept great, and woke up to complimentary breakfast being delivered to our room at the exact time requested. Even with the discounted rate, it was a very expensive stay for one night, so I doubt we will ever do it again, but it was great to experience such luxury!

Excellent!

Pros: great location!
Cons: Beds
Would have given 5's across the board if the beds had been more luxurious as one would expect from an establishment such as this. Otherwise, loved all of the included amenities and receptions, plus the Pillow Concierge! Will definitely return!
