Kiawah was beautiful, gracious, and relaxing. Service and food were top shelf. The best retreat I have had in quite awhile!
This resort is very nice. Finding your way into the checkin was a little difficult for us because we arrived very late at night. There are signs along they way in the Resort, but not very lit on a moonless night. We arrived after all the main shops and stores were closed, however checkin directed ...
The only problem was that it was very hot upstairs in the master bedroom. Other then that we had a beautiful condo.
Nice location on the harbor. Bad parking system - hard to get in and out of gates.
Lovely hotel, friendly helpful staff. Nice pool, great surroundings, freshfields village has all you need. Kiawah island beach within easy biking reach or 5 mins in car! Hotel nicely placed for exploring further afield. Great stay.
Be sure to express needs at booking for disabled room no elevator
Would stay here again! Conveniently located to everything we wanted to see in Charleston.

There was confusion for first timers. Although listed on Expedia As a room choice for Sanctuary hotel, a villa is actually individually owned and managed separately from the hotel. The location is different, and you can't use the hotel gym or pools as a villa guest. The villa is not bad, but it is ...
Nice hotel, we were able to check in early which was great as we were headed to the beach. Very familiar with the area and love being able to stay this close to the beach, yet a 10 minute drive to Charleston.
Very friendly staff greeted us. Opened door to rental and was overcome with mildew smell. Carpet needed to be replaced, walls needed fresh paint, holes in bedroom wall needed to be repaired. Screened in porch was filthy. Exterior doors and porch had dirt and many cobwebs. Terrific location to beach ...
They are working on it and it isnt terrible. Staff was super accommodating and did keep fulfilling any needs. Room wasnt fantastic and bed was hard. Very loud construction next door tearing out the next bathroom so be awake before 8am. Breakfast wasnt worth eating so we didnt go there but one of ...
Clean, good breakfast, comfortable rooms... Will recommend to others.
Nice hotel not too expensive
It was nice and convenient to places
Everyone was very nice. Hotel is in excelent location. Loved having a balcony. It was chilly but for warmer days they have a pool right by the creek and was immaculate. Great views.
I stay in this area frequently for business but this was my first stay at this hotel. The normal fast check in I'm used to took 20 min due to several guest checking in at the same time and only one person working the front desk. My biggest grip with this hotel was its lack of cleanliness. Hallways, ...
I DID NOT LIKE ALL the extra taxes added to my bill!
We went to see a relative and this was a very reasonable option for our accommodations. The hotel is very centrally located making our travels in the area convenient. We both slept like at home and really found the desk on wheels useful as we used it as our dining room table. We would recommend Fairfield ...
