Everything about this hotel was excellent EXCEPT for the beds! It was impossible for us to get a good night's sleep because it felt like we were laying on hard rocks the entire night. Upgrade your mattresses to memory foam and it would be a perfect place to stay. Getting a good night's sleep can not be done when you feel like you're sleeping on a pile of sharp rocks because the mattress is so lumpy.
We were very pleased with our overnight stay here. Rooms were nice and clean as the hotel was remodeled recently. The complimentary breakfast was good and many options to choose from. My only complaint was the water pressure in the bathroom sink. The shower was fine. We will definitely stay here again when we visit Charleston!
Everyone of the staff we interacted with were friendly and accommodating.

My stay was not a great stay. When we went to check in, they told me that the elevator was working. We had to leave and come back, and get dressed in a hurry because of this. The ice maker was not working on the floor and I had to go to another floor to get the ice. I am normally impressed with Hampton properties, but I was very disappointed in this particular stay.
This was a nice clean safe environment and the breakfast was delicious

I've stayed at other Hampton Inn's before, however this on seemed at little lost in time. The microwave didnt work, the coffee maker didnt work, and I also saw a roach in my room.
Nevertheless, the coffee was good!

nothing unique, heavy traffic in the area and the noice (flights) begins around 5 AM.
I was not impressed with the staff. I had to change rooms the first night because the sink was clogged. There was no offer to help move to a new room. The front desk is only sometimes available. I called twice, and no one answered. Are you understaffed? You need to hire more help and train folks on how to provide unforgettable customer service.
I was up late working and found two bed bugs - one on the desk and one by the bathroom floor. I was moved to another floor at the opposite end of the building. The exterminator confirmed that they were bed bugs but said it was an isolated case as he did not find anymore. The second night I found another bed bug on the wall. So much for an isolated case. I will not stay here again.
The lobby was so spacious and so clean! Immediately when I got off the elevator onto my floor it smelt like cocoa butter, same for my room! it was clean and even had big bottles of shampoo, conditioner, body wash, lotion, and hand soap all vegan and cruelty free! Absolutely loved this hotel and will stay again!
Front desk was super helpful to me, trying to get my Google Maps set up for the area. Wish I could remember her name but she was super helpful. Breakfast was awesome, everything except for the potatoes and onions and peppers. That was not so good. Everything else was awesome.
