Convenient location

Pros: Location, convenient to downtown and Mt. Pleasant area.
Cons: Noise control, weekend staff
We were visiting our son for a long weekend and stayed here because we had to bring our dog and they allowed them. While it was convenient to the back door for taking dog out, it was VERY noisy. Rooms are not sound proofed very well and people across hallway had a large dog that barked a lot, people were in and out door all hours of the night, etc.. Maid did not service our room till 3pm each day and not at all Sunday, disappointing as I tipped her $5 each day. We went to ask for clean towels Sunday and found the Sunday staff were not very accommodating. Breakfast staff were very pleasant each day. Room was okay, a little worn but expected for the reasonable price. Would stay here again because of the convenience but would ask for another room location.

Great location, excellent facilities

Pros: The location
Cons: Expedia reserving, if the hotel can´t see if the reservation is for a pet friendly room shouldn´t offer it.
Location: Close to patriots point, Isle of Palms, Charleston´s Downtown, a mall, restaurants, etc.
We choose this hotel because location and pet friendly. It is a little bit more expensive than other pet friendly hotels but it worth it. We found that the reservation done with expedia for a pet-friendly room was not well communicated to the hotel staff, next time I will call in advance to confirm. But the staff promptly resolved the issue and assigned me to a room in accordance with my preferences. Also we expected to have a to bed room, but due the same we got a King Size bed and a side bed coach wich was a little bit uncomfortable, but Housekeeping found a solution and everything was ok. Breakfast was excellent and the staff was very pendent everything was perfectly set up and helpful with all guests. The surroundings are great to take dogs for a walk and even there´s a poop´s bag station is in the nearby.

Multiple restaurants and attractions in close proximity. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was one of the better ones I have had. Parking was convenient. Overall a nice facility in a good area.

It was a little hard to find, but we enjoyed our stay and the staff was friendly. The hotel is located in a convenient place at the beginning of mt pleasant. We will definitely consider staying at the Hampton inn mt pleasant again when we visit charleston again in the future.

We enjoy Hampton Inns. Collectively and including this hotel, there tends to be a relaxed friendliness and uniform commitment to quality that seems to originate from an insightful hiring process, successful orientation, training and a management team that can internally motivate staff. Rooms are clean and bed coverings are changed daily (which we count as important). The breakfasts are value added and of good quality. All this said, we chose this Hampton Inn because of the price point offered by Hotel.com. and would not have selected it at the hotel's standard rates. The relationship negotiated between Hampton Inn and Hotel.com seems to us as a win-win-win for the hotel, the broker and the customer.
